Grandpa Briefs pet.

It's like a miniature slim version of Mister Popo with a tail.

I thought he meant one of Bardock's comrades...
It is in his character to be rude and a bit crass. He's a hick, with no formal education. That is Son Goku. That is who he is.

Superman in an orange Gi was the bastard son of FUNimation. Its not The real character, it is as false as Chatku.

At first, I thought he might have been referring to Toma as well, so you're not alone. :P

Tama is much cooler though.

I wish Bulma was playable on BT3 or any other game as an unlockable character, I know she is on Budokai 3 JPN with a cheat device or something.

She'd probably be useless, but nonetheless fun to play as.
In Budokai 3, she uses Videl's move set. But if you want to be really creative, you can have her use capsules for attacks. She'd throw a capsule and poof a robotic mech appears and does some damage or something. She'd probably be the most fun to develop for; just trying to come up with creative ways for her to fight.

Her Ultimate would be her showing her panties off, then followed by a big ass explosion.

So she rips out a gigantic fart...or queef?

Goku didn't die in GT. The show sucked him off so much, it was impossible to keep him in the world of the living, so he ascended beyond mortality.

I always side eye the people who say "Now my kids/today's kids can experience what I did as a child!" Nigga, who gives a fuck about your childhood? You're an adult now and it was at least 15 years ago. Let the kids have their own experience instead of picking at a corpse.

Instead of a giant explosion it should just make her opponent have a nose-bleed-of-death.

That thing has a name... Also:
Piccolo: "NERD!"
Vegeta: "Funny... I seem to recall Kakarot being fed the same information right before he transformed; the distinct look on your faces when he went Super Saiyan didn't exactly inspire confidence. One does not predict or calculate power like ours."

If the music on BT3 had been good, I probably wouldn't mind the game being too broken as the soundtrack plays an important part too.

I think it is the best Dragon Ball Z game. I still play it today. Then again, I haven't tried the Raging Blast series yet...

He's probably referring to the Bardock special. Zarbon was the one who first recommended destroying Planet Vegeta because the saiyans were rapidly growing in strength.
It was actually Beerus disguised as Zarbon #StayWoke
Herms wrote:The fact that the ridiculous power inflation is presented so earnestly makes me just roll my eyes and snicker. Like with Freeza, where he starts off over 10 times stronger than all his henchmen except Ginyu (because...well, just because), then we find out he can transform and get even more powerful, and then he reveals he can transform two more times, before finally coming out with the fact that he hasn't even been using anywhere near 50% of his power. Oh, and he can survive in the vacuum of space. All this stuff is just presented as the way Freeza is, without even an attempt at rationalizing it, yet the tone dictates we're supposed to take all this silly grasping at straws as thrilling danger. So I guess I don't really take the power inflation in the Boo arc seriously, but I don't take the power inflation in earlier arcs seriously either, so there's no net loss of seriousness. I think a silly story presented as serious is harder to accept than a silly story presented as silly.

Since this thread was relatively active, I thought I'd just bump it instead of making a new thread. I have some questions about this game's online play on Wii. I've been looking to get a DBZ game because I'm on a bit of a nostalgia high (Although with the current eBay asking prices, I'll likely be waiting to get this), and this is the one I've been wanting to get due to the online play, vast number of characters, and positive revies. Plus, I got a friend of mine in on the nostalgia buzz too and she already picked the game up. Thing is, my friend is from the U.K. and I'm in the U.S. Does anyone know if the PAL and NTSC versions of the games are compatible or if the game can handle that distance well? I've heard the online is laggy, but how bad is it? And is would my conditions make it even worse?

I really wish it was released along with a couple other choice Dragon Ball games (Budokai 3 and Super DBZ sounded like good choices when mentioned pages back) on the HD Collection we got. An affordable release of this with decent netcode would be amazing. Oh man, and think if got a Vita port as well like some of the current "HD Collections"...

I love Tenkaichi mostly for the amount of characters and the free ness it gave. When I play Tenkaichi 3 it felt like I was playing a real DBZ fighting game.

I also liked how with Tenkaichi you never knew who would show up next and everyone was eligible. If Tenkaichi 4 was to come out I'm sure Bulla for example would be on the roster.

Budokai 3 I love for nostalgia and also being a soild fighter. When playing Budokai 3 it feels more like the Early DB style battles without relying too much on flying and spamming ki moves.

Super DBZ I never got to play and they need to put it on PSN and XBL.
