Shouldn't most if not all TVs have a subtitle option or better yet I know the PS3 has an option where you can turn on subtitles, so if you own one you don't have anything to worry about. I could be mistaken though since all the movies that I own have an english version and I could choose subtitles from the DVD menu instead of the PS3's menu that may just be a short cut of sorts instead of it being its own thing.

That only works if there are actually subtitles encoded into the TV show/DVD. You can't load up subtitles if they don't exist.

What, specifically, are you asking about? We've already covered the movie pretty extensively on the site, which covers pretty much everything factual that's floating around.

The part about there being other Gods of Destruction is kind of implied by there being other universes, but never stated outright; it's also never said that Beerus is the weakest of the Gods of Destruction, only that Whis is stronger than him.

Maybe I'm not looking in the right places, or maybe people are just waiting until they get to see the movie, or maybe it's a popularity thing, but is anyone else having trouble finding BOG fanworks outside of Pixiv and sometimes DA?

I guess I'll know the answer for real come September, but still am curious about this.

Personally I think the red hair was the obvious direction to go in. They had already done blonde (or I guess white initially) in the manga as a way to show transformation and save time on coloring so another color was needed to show a higher tier. Blue, green or purple would have just been odd and brown or black would not have been eye catching, so it makes sense for Toriyama to go about it this way in order to pair it "down to the absolute limit."

Hey, sorry if this has already been said or nobody cares, but I asked Diamond Films on Facebook if they were going to release the movie on DVD after the screening and they said yes! Afterwards I asked if the Japanese track would be on the DVD and I am currently awaiting a reply. So if anybody would prefer to get the Mexican DVD for whatever reason and don't mind waiting, it's coming. I'm hoping it'll be a cheap alternative to the Japanese DVD, assuming an American release doesn't come first.

It's a vague answer, doesn't even seem to fit with BoG (As far as we know Goku shows no difficulty breathing) or with the manga (Freeza outright says Goku can't) and some people won't take BoG into consideration for these debates anyway (and it'd be hard to separate Toriyama's comment from BoG).

I think the vagueness of it will just raise more debate. :3

You forget that we see Bardock in space in the manga. And since they can "barely breath", they can survive in space, but not for long.

No, it fits. We see Goku (BoG) & Bardock (manga) fighting in space. Freeza said that Goku can't survive in space in the manga. Toriyama says that the Saiyans can barely breath in space. So, the Saiyans can breath in space, but not long enough to fly to another planet.

But what Freeza says is wrong, as Goku can survive in space... just barely. And I think it's a pretty big twisting of Toriyama's words to go from "barely breathe" to "breathe for short periods". Toriyama's words imply difficulty.
