Does the manga or anime actually say what colour they are? I can't remember if their green, blue, gren-blue...

Wasn't that coloured by Toriyama? In any case, it's the same colour as the anime. I don't know if anything is actually mentioned in the manga, having not read much of it myself.

In the anime, there's a scene where he's blatantly checking out Arale's male friend, whose name I forget and hasn't shown up in US Doc Slump yet.The Lecherous Muten Roshi wrote:Hmm. Good point. Was he really meant to be gay, or just childish and grossed out by girls?El_Diablo wrote:He's also homosexual.
And we all know how the Nazis felt about that.
Well, speceific colours aside, the point still get's across.Tsukento wrote:I know for a fact that pretty much all of Toriyama's art showed the Super Saiyan forms having GOLD hair and green eyes. o_o
Whether it was intentional or not, I guess we'll never know.
There is no better combination in the world than Dragonball, Cherry Pepsi, and Cheez-Its. It's a proven fact.

Obotchaman is his name. The Lecherous Muten Roshi wrote:Ah, I see. Also, that scene wasn't exactly cut out (in the US, anyway). They just rewrote it to make it appear that Blue was fond of Obotchaman because he resembled his little brother. ...Which is quite possibly even weirder. o_O

Yes, that is entirely possible.Tsukento wrote:T'wasn't really the intention considering Toriyama never wrote any of movie 12, nor did a line like the one from the dub appear in the original.
What's scarier than a DBZ H-game?

I didn't mean the line from movie 12 specifically, I just meant in general. I mean I noticed that similarity way before I saw the dub.Tsukento wrote:T'wasn't really the intention considering Toriyama never wrote any of movie 12, nor did a line like the one from the dub appear in the original._Jrinu_ wrote:Well, speceific colours aside, the point still get's across.

There's this instance when Piccolo blew up the moon when Gohan was wrecking havoc as an Oozaru. I know there seems to be nothing wrong there, but come to think of it, with Piccolo's power level at that time.. how in the blue hell was he able to destroy the moon just like that?!
It makes me laugh to remember Goku almost dumbfounded when Freeza created a "mere" large hole on the ground. And now you have this then-weakling Piccolo destroy an entire moon! Wow.

That, or Son Gohan has a text book on... jumping.

Wow. Kame Sennin did? I better review my DB. But with that said, it made all the hype for Freeza's power a bit useless. Surely he can blow up a whole planet, but little did he know that other beings 1000x weaker than him can blow up an entire moon with ease.TripleRach wrote:Eh? Kamesennin had blown up the moon long before that, and I'm pretty sure he's a lot weaker than Piccolo.
Moons aren't very big. Earth's Moon is only 1% as massive as Earth itself.kirkywirky wrote:Wow. Kame Sennin did? I better review my DB.
