It's not 'better' it's just different. It's more 'Street Fighter' than 'Zone of the Enders'.
Though I ave no idea why anyone would say it's closer to the manga - if anything it's farter away from canon (Trunks with a lightsabre? Mecha-Freeza with an arm cannon?)

Well if its closer to a real fighter(street fighter) then I'm diffently picking this game up!!! I never really liked the 3D DBZ fighting games that much, they were to UNBALANCED, but what I did like about them was there character roster which is HUGE! Which means I'll most likely get Sparking Neo, I just hope they have Turles in there! But I whish the Tekken crew took care of a 3D DBZ fighting game, thats there department and I guarentee it would be better than Super DBZ, but the people who are handeling it are the people from street fighter, so its still gonna kick as much ass!
Also does anybody know if, when it does come to america is it going to have the option of it being in JP mode with English subs??
Also if the Mecha Frieza is designed by Toryima himself, how is it not canon?? and can you post pics or link pics of Trunks with his lightsaber??
