The point I was trying to make though wasn't the way it was activate but the fact it caused the game to stop to perform a KameHameHa etc. (again, this is from a very limited memory). I honestly hope they do away with this and leave the "stop game play" for ultimate moves.
It's a split second pause for activation. It's not like they make you wait 20 or 30 minutes while it charges...

I was compairing it to the attacks like Genki Dama where the action stops and a cut scene begins. For some reason I though the regular attacks were like that in Sparking but have been proven wrong. My bad.

That's not true, in the interview on gamespot they clearly say that it will go all the way from Dragonball to Dragonball GT
Where @?
So they'll cover all sagas in the story mode as well?

It's the live footage from E3. I back up Jrinu and confirm that they did, indeed, say that the storymode would cover Dragonball through Dragonball GT.

That sounds like wishful thinking to me. After all Budokai 3 was going to have a really huge story mode too, and more than half of it ended up on the cutting room floor.

I sincerely hope they can achieve this great RPG esque story mode that they described, allow players to walk around city's and talk to people to advance the plot between beating the brains out of your next opponent. But I'm not holding my breath though, atleast not until we see a real hands-on demo of said features.

I'd always wished they'd remake DBZ:Legend of the Super Saiya-jin with a modern-age over haul. That's wishful thinking...

Here is a vid that shows how the Wii will work with Tenkaichi 2. Looks awkard and silly

Okay, I've made it pretty clear that I'm not looking forward to Wii... but even I have to be fair and say that the guy in that video quite obviously didn't know what he was doing. The controls on the original Sparking! took some getting use to, so, needless to say, this game is going to feel completely different... not only from Sparking! but from any other console game you've ever played.

DDR looks awkard and silly too, but everyone seems to love it once they get into it...

That does make a clashing contrast to what IGN had to say, that moving the controller was only used for special moves (for example the quick thrust forward while keeping a button pressed on both the remote and nunchaku)... this one just seems to be waving like a lunatic, despite the Nintendo lady trying to talk sense into him, much like what Flash Dude had to say.

That said though, I'll happily snap it up for the Wii, simply because I don't feel the need for getting a PS2 at it's current price for only a few games.(Still €170 for a 5 year old console? I'll pass) Plus it'll be an original way of playing. But hey, tastes differ. =D

While browsing through the internet, I came across what appears to be the logo for the american release of the game.

As you can see, its pretty low-quality, so I have my doubts as to whether or not it's official. But it looks pretty much like I would expect it to.
There is no better combination in the world than Dragonball, Cherry Pepsi, and Cheez-Its. It's a proven fact.

Do you know how much that €170 is in Canadian currency?
'Cause the PS2 is down to $130 where I live, which is Canada.

170 Euros is about 240 Canadian dollars.

Damn, I was really hoping they'd stop using the same Budokai logo as the Budokai series... I feel like they're insulting our intelligence and ability to tell the difference between two games...

Oh, thanks. :)
Then yeah. That does seem pretty expensive for an old system. If you directly compare the price conversion, to the price I have here. :?

Nope, he didn't.

Awesome that he's in the game though.

This game just keeps getting bigger & bigger. Atari & Bandai/Namco Games want to go out with a bang on the PS2 for DBZ Video Games.
