Given I've stated multiple times I don't want Spike making games in this franchise, neither.

Yeah. Hell, I'd bet they did UT just to buy time for a possible RB3. They probably had a small team start working on UT while everyone else was doing RB2. When RB2 was finished, the small team could've moved on to the Kinect. And seeing as the Kinect game is just UT with, well, Kinect, the rest of the team may not be needed.

That would make a lot of since to do if your just one developer and you have to make one game a year for a certain franchise. Even more so if your publisher can't (or won't) hire other devs to help meet that quota.

Personally I would love a sequel to the game DBZ Legendary Super Warriors. It's worth checking out!

Also anything with Super Saiyan Raditz I would just buy instantly.

Goku didn't die in GT. The show sucked him off so much, it was impossible to keep him in the world of the living, so he ascended beyond mortality.

I always side eye the people who say "Now my kids/today's kids can experience what I did as a child!" Nigga, who gives a fuck about your childhood? You're an adult now and it was at least 15 years ago. Let the kids have their own experience instead of picking at a corpse.

You can't really play many games if you hold them to that criteria.

It would be kind of like GTA where the gamer has the liberty to go every where, whether it's by car, bike, boat, train, cab or airplane, for the fights in 2D/3D (not how Spike does it) and as for the graphics from a High-End PC, or next generation consoles.

I'll stick to Super DBZ and Budokai games, it's as far as it'll go for me right now.

Super DBZ is my favorite by far, amazing game, and Budokai 3 I'd say is pretty solid, although flawed.

I want to see DragonBall Z game made by Arc System Works in the same vain as Hokuto no Ken.

I loved Legacy Of Goku 1 and 2.

If they could use Saiyan Saga to Buu Saga with that kind of similar game play with todays graphics and some of the nice features from more recent games, it'd be awesome.

One year? Any good game takes at least 4 years to develop.
Those are some high standards, dude.

This is more or less what I want. The Budokai games were fine for what they were and they had a lot more room for improvement. I would've really like to see what Dimps could have done if they could had more installments to work with.

Ketchup_Revenge wrote:Best game so far (out of the ones I've played) is Budokai 3.

Unless they can somehow get off their asses and do a fully free range adventure fighting game that allows side missions as well as follows the main story, I don't see any game surpassing it. The problems with the newer games is that they focus more on the fighting mechanics and ignore everything else. They make a miserable attempt to try to simulate the greatness of the free range mode in Budokai 3, but utterly fail because unlike Budokai 3, that the only locations you can go are already marked on the map, so there's nothing interesting or challenging about navigating the map.

Until they can improve upon what they already did on Budokai 3, any and all of the newer games are a waste of time and money.
This is how I feel too. Burst Limit was a good start but never got a sequel sadly.

Well, as long as we're all commenting on a year old thread...
Legendary Super Warriors for the GBC is my favorite, followed by Legacy of Goku 2 and Tenkaichi 2.

Budokai 2. Not for gameplay. The story mode and the characters in my opinion were the best. If it had Budokai 3 gamplay then it would be the best game ever.

Tenkaichi 2. Most realistic dbz game ever and everything was done greatly. Only thing missing was Kid Krillin.

I loved how Budokai 2 did things. I loved how things were different and the board game style allowed me to do coop with my brother. I would make it my favourite if the gameplay were just like Budokai 3.

I'd prefer something along the lines of LOGII or the LOG trilogy in general, just more in-depth and quests to do post- end game material.

I agree in some ways. I loved the board game style story mode of B2 and the what ifs. If it had Infinite World like additions it would be much more awesome. Hyper Mode and Dragon Rush suck.
It is in his character to be rude and a bit crass. He's a hick, with no formal education. That is Son Goku. That is who he is.

Superman in an orange Gi was the bastard son of FUNimation. Its not The real character, it is as false as Chatku.

Do wish that IW didn't take out the beam struggle and that hand to hand combat thing. Those was fun. Even through the best version of the hand to hand combat thing when you rotate the controller(Still used to this day) was in Budokai 1.
