Only when you select English in the audio options menu. FUNimation's current DVDs are bilingual, with Japanese and English audio. Some also include a third, Spanish. There was once a time when some Dragon Ball Z DVDs were English only. Movie 4 comes to mind. I made the mistake of buying the English only version before reading the cover. I also made the mistake of buying Movie 4.

A very strange question in this day and age. Almost all of Funi's DVDs...or most anime DVDs for that matter, are bilingual, and has been for the past 6 years or so.

FUNimation no longer releases edited DVDs of Dragon Ball. Not any that I'm aware of. All the current ones are uncut.

Ricochet0082 is absolutely right! Every saga of Dragonball Z has been or will soon be released in a bilingual DVD format. The only exception relates to the DBZ movies, for which FUNimation frequently decides to market both a bilingual, uncut release and an edited English-only version.

I don't know if it relates to all the movies, but I'm pretty sure that in addition to the aforementioned Lord Slug, the features Broly: The Legendary Super Saiyan, Bojack Unbound, and Broly: Second Coming (movies 8, 9 and 10, respectively) have English-only versions. Oh, and the Path to Power DVD, as well.

Not that we should care, since we just want the uncut bilingual versions anyway. (*uncomfortable pause*) Sooooo . . . I'unno. Enjoy all that useless information I just sputtered out, I guess . . . heh!

At any rate, VegettoEX's amazingly wonderful DVD Guide should be of enourmous help. Check it out!

Okay, to clear this up:

FUNimation DVDs (unless they're the old Saiyan to Ginyu saga) are completely uncut, and contain an English audio track (English dub voices and music) and a Japanese audio track (Japanese voices and music).
