I see your point. It looks kinda tacked on. Like a bad superimposion.Sebastian (SB) wrote:I don't like how they put the "Super" lettering in replacement of the katakana in the logo. It looks really dumb.
I personally would just prefer them to keep the furigana if the superimposing is going to be that tacky.

Is it furigana? Excuse my ignorance. Its been a while since I last took Japanese & my memories of it are slowly slipping. The Tori-bot wrote:I see your point. It looks kinda tacked on. Also, I noticed that even in the translations for the game itself in the menus screen a lot of the letterings do look "tacked on". Overall, I'm not liking the looks of these letterings in the logo & the game itself.

Furigana is a line of kana used to aid the reading of kanji or other Japanese characters (for example, since Japanese children learn hiragana first (although I find it harder than katakana), a line of hiragana may be placed next to katakana in a workbook to help them learn).
Battle High 2, starring Kyle Hebert as well as myself, has been released on Xbox 360, OUYA, PC, Linux, Mac, and Xbox One!
Ok, that's being a bit TOO anal. Most Americans can't read katakana, so it SHOULD be replaced with the romanization. It's part of the title, after all, and it says the same thing. It's not like Sparking where Atari completely changed the title (from English to fucked up Japanese...way to go, dudes).

In other words, they feel like it was just slapped together in 3 seconds in MSPaint or something to that effect.

I don't know what it is about it, but it just looks "wrong" for some reason; I don't know why.

Wow, that sucks.Saiyan wrote:Alright, I know the image is small, but...US cover art anyone?
Seems like fans voted for this version on the Atari forums
I mean, it's better than 'Shin Naked Goku' but why not just use the original cover art?
(é) Yeah, I'm famous. Super famous. I start things.

Exactly. Atari's just retarded when it comes to the game covers. Though, they did wise up by giving more original Dragon Ball fans a Japanese voice option, which is why it boggles me as to why they can't be smart enough to use original JPN covers.desirecampbell wrote:Wow, that sucks.Saiyan wrote:Alright, I know the image is small, but...US cover art anyone?
