Wow.
"Sparking! NEO" (PS2/Wii)
Ah, that makes a lot of sense now i think about it. Thanks.desirecampbell wrote:Heh, sorry - I forgot about the name filter in my last postDemi wrote:How do you actually prenounce his name? I could never figure it out, and i've never seen anything with him in it.
His name is 'Telluce', you pronounce it like 'Lettuce' but with the first syllable reversed from 'let' to 'tel' (like "tell" "us").
You would attempt to pronounce it the same if you were Japanese, you'd just have a hard time doing it. You'd probably substitute R's for L's. So 'Telluse' (tell - us) becomes 'Terrus' (ter - us, or tar - us). I'm not sure where 'Turles' (ter - les) came from, it sounds more like a rearrangment of 'Lester' than 'lettuce'.
After getting bored with the first one in about two weeks I was pretty skeptical as to how this one would turn out but turns out I'm getting sucked into it again (and just like the first one it has reignited my interest in DBZ, this time enough to buy some of the DVDs as all we have are VHSs of the dub).
Anyway, I'm stoked for some of the new characters like Fat Janenba, #13 (complete with SSJ Deadly Bomber no less), and Hildegarn to name a few. I'm interested to see what they do with Hildegarn as he didn't have many distinctive moves in the movie (though that didn't seem to stop them with Tapion). I'm also hoping the story mode is played out better than it was in the first one (those "cutscenes" were horrid).
And hopefully some moves that were absent from the last game will be here (Ultimate Buu has the candy beam so that's a good sign, I'm also praying Janenba has the Bunkai Teleport from the movie) and that the moves that were in the last game will be implimented right (Gotenks' beam being a mouth beam instead of a hand beam, Raditz having a double beam instead of a single one, Kid Buu's doomsday ball being the right colors instead of being the same as Freeza's deathball (as a Buu fan that really annoyed me)). Yes I'm very anal about the details.

Well, technically the Wii. The Wii has more sophisticated hardware than the Gamecube, which had more sophisticated hardware than the PS2 - but it's all about how you use it.BrollysKin wrote:Is anyone sure what one of the two systems has better graphical power?
PS2/Wii
I wouldn't expect either version to look much different from each other.

Well, if the moves in this are anything like the ones in the first one all you'll do is push a couple of buttons and then you'll be fused. No chance of messing up. Don't know if it'll be permanent or not though.Rocketman wrote:Nooooooooooo!!!Metrite wrote:Looks like in-game fusions are back.

<Kaboom> Neither does Rita

Why is this bad we will probably get the best of both, meaning in battle fusions like the transformations and also be able to select them before battle in their desired state.Rocketman wrote:Nooooooooooo!!!Metrite wrote:Looks like in-game fusions are back.

This fusion is just an extra option if your having a tag team battle with Goku and Vegeta agains whomever.

John: "I love this new system"
Mike: "Yeah, though it should still be called the Rev-"
John: "Aw! Damnit! My ear!"
Mike: "What did you do?"
John: "I think I just started a fight club."
Remember kids, always pick Gotenks.

You're forgetting, they've said you have the choice of starting out in a form already, which means it's entirely possible you may be able to start off fused too. Plus, I seriously doubt there will be a time-limit to the Potara's in any way, shape, or form. Hell, they might not even include a screw-up method for it, making it like Kabitoshin from B3. Automatic and unfailable.Rocketman wrote:That's all well and good for the Fusion Dance. It won't be anything like that. I doubt that third party games would get that creative. The only games that are going to take full advantage of the controller will be Nintendos first party games.kindertuin wrote:I am saying yes. Did you already forget about doing the Kamehameha with the Wii controllers? That's pretty creative right there.BrollysKin wrote:It won't be anything like that.
