Well as veshira said, if Boss Rabbit and his cronies could do it, then it should be a cinch for Bardock! (Yes, I'm being sarcastic )

Something interesting I noticed was that Chi-chi appears in the first episode of Dragonball, at least in Funimation's first dub of it. She's being chased by the same Dinosaur that chases her in episode 8. This happens when Bulma is telling Goku about the world outside his mountain home. Chi-chi is only there for a few frames.

I was reading one question from the first pages, it was about the moon. So I was thinking if anyone remember if the earth in dragonball has 2 moons or if someone asked for the moon to come back after Roshi destoryed ?
I aim to misbehave

Kami put it back after Roshi destroyed it.

Speaking of which, Boss Rabbit and his cronies were never brought back to life after Roshi blew up the moon, were they?

I don't even think Toriyama remembered about him once he did away with him. :P

Dunno if it was brought up, but I just noticed Dodoria is similar to the Namekians. He had three fingers in the manga while Toei gave him five in the anime. :P

Well, another weird thing I've noticed for some time is that Goku's friends at Karin Tower and Snow's village were able to recognize Goku's voice, while other guys from DB like Baba's fighters, Giran, and Namu had to be persuaded by Mr. Satan to donate their energy to the Genki Dama. How could they just be like, "Yep, that's Goku's fully adult voice, all right."?

Well, it didn't change a whole lot.
Anyway, that's not the worse thing: during that scene, No. 17 comments about how it's been long since he heard Gokû's voice... And, yeah, I'd say. When did he hear it? At all?

As far as I can remember, never.

Of course, if Toriyama can't remember their names, he's obviously going to forget small details like that.

Would've made more sense if he put Lunch there instead of 17.

Well, Lunch was there (or at least in the anime; not in the manga).

And I guess if you watch the JP version, then Goku's voice never really changed that much there... so I guess that makes sense. Also, I kinda find it funny that 17 never met the person he wanted to kill :?.

Don't forget that the androids were programmed with everything about Gokuu so that they could kill him. They probably had a sample of his voice, as well as his appearance. And if that's not good enough.. uhh.. 17 was part of Cell, and Cell fought Gokuu. Maybe he could still see what was going on (unlikely, but I'm just throwing out ideas).

Otherwise.. yeah.. plot hole. Oops.

I JUST noticed, after having seen ep 173 a lot, that Kaiou-sama can use Shukan Idou. I don't know why I didn't notice that before.

Another little detail is King Piccolo's throne in DB and Kami's chair in his space ship looking practically the same. It looks like Toriyama actually went through his old sketches to bring some connections between Kami and Piccolo. :)

I remember Tao Pai Pai appearing in the 25th Tenka'ichi Budōkai. We didn't see him fight, but he was a contestant. You can find him in final episode of the Great Saiyaman saga.

Ooh, does someone have screencaps of these?

I just rewatched that ep (took me awhile to figure out which one was considered the last of the Saiyaman arc) and discovered a man that, at first glance, does look kind of similar to Tao Pai Pai. Pics are from ep 209.

Could it be?! Tao Pai Pai?
From the side (revealing the long braided hair)

But remember what he looks like in Z.

Tao Pai Pai from episode 174

This guy doesn't appear at all in the manga, even in the background; at least that I could find.

Well, they did bring back Commander Red as a director (and "different" character) during the Great Saiyaman episodes. :P So it wouldn't be suprising.

I noticed that when Vegeta arrives on Namek in the manga, he has his Scouter with him. What's the problem here? He told the doctor on Freeza's planet that he didn't need it and went off without it. The anime apparently went and fixed this by having Vegeta stop before completely heading off and grabbing his Scouter.
