So in other words Toriyama wasn't involved a bit in the production of the manga.... But if Toriyama did not anything other than he actually read the manga before it was publicated, if it would have contained some plot errors, than he surely did not corrected it? To be clear... It's sure that Oishi Naho's manga is that we can read it now, and wasn't changed a bit by Toriyama?

Toriyama designed Chilled. That got a huge splash alongside the first chapter in the August 2011 issue of V-Jump.

There is absolutely zero reason to believe that he did anything (wrote, re-wrote, guided, suggested, etc.) with the story in any way, shape, or form. This is something they would have plugged the ever-living-Hell out of were it to have actually happened, as they did with Battle of Gods.

So it depends only on him to accept it as a part of his story, just like he did with Tsufuruians in a last interview.

For the topic.... The whole resurrecting a BIG BAD totally reminds me of Movie 13. In the Battle of Gods it was revealed that Shenlon knows everything, so he possibly knows that the one who is being resurrected will provoke despair, but the one who says the wish believes that he will resurrect someone good. Just like in the case of Tapion.

Ah.... well I don't think Goku would have any scenario to become evil, especially when he knew about his past in the Saiyan Arc, and decided to not turn against the Earth. Even if he would get back his lost memories, I don't think he would go bad.

And evil Goku from other universe it's probably unlikely because these universes don't appear to be alteranate ones of 7th. And also the film was tagged as a war between Gods.

No, he has repeatedly said through the years that he liked the TV Special. It seems more like he considers the whole anime its own separate thing, and since he hasn't seen the TV Special for years now (he said he doesn't remember its details other than that he liked it a lot), he just told his own story with his own Bardock.

In an interview for BOG he said that he designed Beerus as an animal cause it was hard to come up with human designs so there's a big chance that they'll be the same.

If they do have other Gods of Destruction in any upcoming movies then I do hope they all share a theme appearance wise. Beerus looks like the Egyptian God Anubis some Jackal looking thing.

I'm looking up the Egyptian Deities now and I can see a lot of them have animal appearances. A Falcon, Lion, Bull, Baboon, Ram, Cow, Crocodile, Hippo.

There's a evil God called Apep that is some Snake/Dragon/Lizard thing. Beerus was originally supposed to look like a lizard. So they could have something like that, a Komodo Dragon designed villain.

Yeah I think that would be an interesting way to go.

The Bull would be a good one, people already familiarise them with being strong so that would fit pretty well with this series. Of course that was the other thing about Beerus his personality reflected the animal that he was supposed to be based on, a cat.

I dunno about something like a Ram or a Cow though, they aren't exactly the most intimidating looking animal. It wouldn't surprise me if Toriyama did go with something like that though but I don't think I could take an evil villain that looked like a Cow seriously.

Things with long snouts like Crocodiles might be an awkward design too.

After the Lizard, I'd go with the Falcon. I could picture a intelligent, cunning, evil, humanoid Falcon with sharp talons that could cut Goku's head off.

The thing about that picture though is that it clearly shows the difference between Toriyama and all these fan artists. Those are mostly unoriginal designs and you could easily pick them out as being fan made or filler designs. The good thing about Toriyama is that all his villains look completely unique and fresh. The one in the middle at the top is pretty good though.
