So totally true, Raditz and Nappa where quite useless in Budokai 3 and Budokai Tenkaichi. (Full Power Energy Wave anyone?) And where one of the few characters who couldn't transform.

They all have tails so I don't see a problem. I do hope the Oozaru are much faster in this game.

Yes, I've watching videos of a certain Ozaru Tullece who certain moved much faster than Ozaru Vegeta from the last game.

I just wished their appearances varied more though. Think about it how great would it be if Raditz's Oozaru had long hair, and Nappa's had really short hair (since he's bald normally). I hope that Bardock's had his trademark scar too.

They do look different.

You can see that Nappa's Oozaru has short hair here; its really short at the front and the hair on a regular Oozaru arcs upwards. Nappa's doesn't.

And here you can clearly see that Raditz has long hair as an Oozaru.

EDIT: Bardock doesn't have his scar, though.

King Vegeta didn't keep his goatee either.

Oh wow. I think I just got served. :?

I'm happy with that though since I pretty much got what I wanted. :D

Agreed. I hated the Oozaru in Sparking 1 and can't say I'm overly fond of the amount that will feature in the sequal. On the other hand, I do like the what if side of all the transformations.

I take it that you can transform to Oozaru at will and have enough ki/power, just like a SSJ transformation?

I ask this because I think it would be cool if the Oozaru transformation occured by using a 'fake moon' like Vegeta did in the series.

Just imagine two fighters with the ability to transform into an Oozaru having a battle, one of them generates the fake moon and throws it in the air, where it stays (kinda like how the Genki Dama stays there in one of the videos earlier in this thread). Then all of a sudden, one or both of the characters catch a glimpse of the fake moon and voila - instant Oozaru carnage!

You're a genious! I haven't thought about it yet. I had only thought about that they should have the fake moon technique to transform, but I have never thought about affecting the other player if he's a Saiyan. If only they have real time day-to-night transition, or at least the option to choose day/night version of the stage, then somebody can take aim at the moon to disable the Ozaru form. :P

Agreed, imagine if what you had to do to blow away was lock-on to it like when you have to lock on to the other player.

Once locked on, you have to to a fully charged beam and you get treated to a quick cut-scene.

That feature would make the game for me.

I personally dislike the oozaru in BT/Sparking!. I would enjoy having them in there if Spike made the game like wannywan proposed (I was thinking the exact thing when I saw the footage of whoever transforming into one). However, it doesn't look like it (at least right now) that Spike will include something like that.

That'd be a feature more for an RPG.

Not to mention that I don't think you can blow up the artificial moon. >.>;; I always thought Ki blasts would just pass through it. (Not to mention blowing it up equals giving your enemy a free shot while you're aiming up to shoot it down)

And besides, otherwise we could also start complaining that Cell can transform without absorbing 17 & 18.

Just to be a retard, if the evil Saiyans were to go Super Saiyan, wouldn't they become that Golden Oozaru thing cause they have tails, or am I just pulling that out of some filler pit of doom?

...

Anywho, on the topic, I liked having Oozarus in Sparking!, but it was more of a novelty than anything. You were so danged slow, and they were just, meh-ish to actually play seriously with, but it was still neat to have them there.

And they threw rocks. Which IIRC, Mr. Satan also did. Therefore, Mr. Satan= Giant Space Monkey.

Did Mr. Satan throw rocks? I thought he threw grenades. I don't remember.

The Oozaru were slow in the game, but heck, they were slow in the anime too. Most of the time, they barely moved from one spot. It may not be fun to be that slow in a game, but I think it's accurate, at least.

I too never really enjoyed playing as them seriously, but it was still fun to have the option, if I wanted.

He threw rocks usually, but if you did a charged ki blast he threw grenades.

SSj Kaboom wrote:Well, half the Saiyans in the game never reached Super Saiyan in the show, so I guess it's just to give them some sort of ingame powerup. Plus, we did see Bardock as Oozaru in his special, and Tullece transforming is a nice little bonus. And then there's just the nameless random Oozaru, right?

I say King Vegeta should be in one of these games. He would be absolutely badass as an Oozaru.

An oozaru with a mustache and beard? That'd be awesome. XD

Oozarus were almost impossible to fight in BT1, does anyone know about their difficulty in the sequel..?
