All I hope is that Kuririn and Tenshinhan win. They haven't gotten a real win since the Saibaimen. They deserve it. This movie seems to be giving them *real* fights, which is going to be so much fun to watch if everything is tastefully done. I'm going to be very sad if Yamcha and Chaozu (the ones who REALLY deserve a win) aren't in on the action.

Yeah, if Z Fighters are anything like Pokemon, they should only be able to attack about 20~80 times before all their moves are out of PP and they have to use Struggle. At which point they're just reducing their own HP every time they attack, so it's only a matter of time.

Seriously, I think all the women in this series are dysfunctional. Bulma is an uptight, spoiled rich girl. Lunch is a bi-polar psychopath. Android 18 was a serial killer who now dominates her husband. Chi Chi is an overprotective nut case.

The only sane woman is Videl. Gohan hit the jackpot. She's pretty, independent, rich, and kind (sans the high school days).

We know from the Manga that Lunch 2 always had a thing for Tenshinhan. From Akira Toriyama's interviews we know that Lunch 1 also fell in love with Tenshinhan but that he was not interested - pretty much like it was shown in the Saiyan Saga of the anime with Lunch 2. Still she pays him visits. And aabout Lunch 2 - I guess she does not even care if he wants her not to visit him. If she is conscious she just does.

MagicBox, you speak to my soul, in regards to the need for patience.

I mean, let's again humor the possibility that we all considered when the movie was about Freeza- "it's gonna be cheap dreck". Well so is half the movie franchise, arguably more depending on your standards. You think we would be talking like this if we were having these discussions in the 90's (obvious technological and language barriers magically removed)? No, we'd be treating these things as the give-or-take annual fare the way a Pokemon TV series fan would, given that the movies have no effect on the actual continuity. Nor will Battle of Gods, Revival of F, or anything other recent pieces- the manga and TV series are still gonna be there.

Now, all that said, given the inferences being made here, I really don't think there's anything in this movie that we cannot be stretched into believing... if the movie had a longer timeframe to it. The decade between Buu's death and the end of the manga is, astonishingly enough, proving too small.

Chances are the only reason she didn't was because Goku was still alive in that timeline. Without that objective, the androids would have probably cut loose unless #16 stopped them.

I'd totally go for this. Would make the movie far more entertaining if Beerus and Freeza fought. Beerus wanted to last time kill Freeza, so now I wanna see the two fight.

Where are you guys getting these power levels and this "Raditz-tier" bullshit? Maybe I missed something, but none of that has been confirmed for the film.

Tagoma was the strongest of the army, and he's Zarbon level. So that makes everyone else weaker than that.

Considering someone on 16's level can't even budge or move someone like Semi Perfect Cell, none of these mooks can hurt out heroes. Their punches would feel like tickles.
