Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Resurrection 'F'"

Crap. I forgot about the recent Bulma Blog. Herms said that it had something to do with Jaco, and something about Tights. Has it been mentioned already that Tights is going to be in the movie or no?

Maybe Jaco spoke Bulma about his older sister and his friendship with her, but I don't think she will acutally appear in the movie, but I'd like her to be in, just to check out how old she has gotten.

I'll enjoy quite a few laughs if Vegeta is indeed the one who defeats Freeza. All the people emphatically stating it won't ever happen will be eating crow big time.

I'm the opposite. I see it being possible he does, but I'll laugh if Vegeta in the end isn't the one to defeat Freeza. Vegeta fanboys everywhere will probably turn on this movie hard even if it were the best DBZ movie ever. Even made a comment that "For the love of Godkamikingkaioshin, do not turn on this movie if Vegeta isn't the saviour." Apparently kill bad guy is all that matters to be important, and not just simple respect for a character.

No, it's just Bulma explaining about how she has an older sister named Tights, and who Jaco is. Tights is only mentioned as a way of introducing Jaco and explaining why Bulma knows him. Then there's a plug for the Jaco manga at the end. It's only Bulma talking; we don't even get a visit from Jaco or Tights, which is a shame.

I'm actually more excited than anything to see Krillin and Piccolo back in action as they're two of my favorites, and they're long overdue for some time to shine.

But I guess they're still not getting it, what with them not killing Freeza and all. -sigh-

Alternately, will laugh right out of my chair if Krillin stealth-Kienzan's Freeza and blasts him into oblivion. Won't happen but the reactions would be priceless.

That's a valid statement, as far as spotlight goes. I'll admit Vegeta's been more of a focal point than the rest of the gang. It's just that I'd like hero-status for Vegeta in this movie. It's just a personal preference, and has been discussed over the past, what, TONS of pages?

But I'm personally wanting the other guys to have some awesome moments, too. From the looks of the trailer, it's not far-fetched. And don't assume I want them simply jobbing the whole time; I want to see some butt-kicking. Especially from Piccolo

As he finds himself losing, his friends and family will be seen holding his shoulders in support, giving him the strength to push forward. Before he wins, a montage will flash in the background, showing the evolution of the character from slave, to criminal, to hero. Oh, and a Momoiro Clover Z song has to be playing in the background, similar to the song in the video I linked. <3333

That would... actually be kind of awesome. I'm imagining that montage now, and in the background, my mind couldn't help but conjure up This theme. Seriously though, that is like the most epic music to set to a struggle montage.

People seemingly don't get it. When we want Gohan, Piccolo, Krillin, the boys, Boo, or whoever to get respect, we don't mean they have to kill the main bad guy. We just want a small bone thrown their way. A moment that stands out for them. Piccolo leading the Z Fighters is a moment when I respect him, as I can't pick a better leader. Gohan coaching the boys in the JSAT special was a moment of respect for him (And he didn't even have to fight). Krillin and the others helping save people in the JSAT special was a nice bone thrown to them. It's not something huge for these guys, but it's still something nice and respectful.

April 16th was the original date, but FOX changed it because they didn't want to lose in the Box Office against Avengers AoU and Furious 7. Or at least it's what I know Lol

Vegeta never gave a crap about his people, or planet. He did care that he couldn't be ruler though, and that's nothing I sympathize with as if he were ruler, he'd just be another Freeza anyways. We also have no evidence of Freeza being cruel to Vegeta himself beyond not letting him be ruler in childhood. If Vegeta never rebelled, he probably wouldn't have been killed or brutalized. Vegeta's blog seems to say he doesn't care, and Freeza as a character has no interest in Vegeta either. Kinda like Vegeta's one sided rivalry with Goku. Above all Vegeta hated being used...that's it.

It's funny how Goku could figure this out real quick, but some others can't grasp that.
