Oh god no.

I'm not touching this without Mike's consent - because I'm pretty sure this will dissolve into the same shitpile that the last thread on this turned into.

I'd like to discuss this - but I think talking about "who's stronger than who" should wait until, at least, a day since the last time Mike said "I hate discussions about who's stronger than who".

This horse has been beaten dead too many times. The only evidence that anyone in their right mind can use is when Old Kai said the potara earring fusion is more complete.

Go ask Toriyama himself. We don't know.

Heh you can't blame the newbs for asking  . Seriously though no one can really say. Besides what the Old Kai said there isin't a whole lot of evidence either way. Check that thread if your curious and welcome to Daizex.com's forums.

P.S. Do not anger the god's aka Vegetto EX. :x

Everyon'e right. It's a vengeful old ghost of a topic which should not be revived, so I'll sum up what he previous "conclusion" was in one, simple sentence.

"While the two are combinations of the exact same two fighters, evidence is in favor of Vegetto, but there's no sure way to tell."

Period.

"Better" how? If it's been stated, quote it.

Well, fuck me. Does he say any more about it? Does he elaborate on what "greater" means? I assume it means "stronger" but it could well be a reference to the fact that it doesn't cease.

He calls the Fusion time limit a shortcoming.

Logic stands that he meant that Potara fusions are stronger when he said "the effect is even greater".

Perhaps. Does he say anything specifically about it's strength? "Greater" could very well refer to the fact that it doesn't have a timelimit, since he seems to talk about that a lot.

Avoiding the other thread so that my post is strictly based on my opinion, I like to think they are equal. Vegetto is based more on Vegeta correct? If thats the case, then Vegetto's hubris would be along the lines of Vegeta right? Gogeta, on the other hand, was direct in his actions and spared no time in defeating his foe (obviously disregarding the GT appearance). Is this an endless debate?

How would the Elder Kai know the advantages and disadvantages of either fusion? If he did, wouldn't he take the situation with Gotenks defusing more seriously? Another pointless question would be this: If Trunks and Goten fused with the earrings would they still be able to transform to Level three? If so, would the time of the transformation be five minutes? Bah! Questions!

But who could possibly take advantage of that hubris?

Gogeta. Gogeta isn't as cocky as Vegetto which could've lead to his downfall if he hadn't anticipated Buu absorbing him. We do know that in GT, Gogeta is as arrogant as it gets so I'm trying to keep that out of the picture.

Hm, thought I added "if it exists" to the end of that.

Anyway, I think Vegetto's cocky attitude was not because of being based more on Vegeta (where'd that come from?). I think it was him trying to get absorbed so he could rescue the others. He had to stretch out the fight and make Buu absorb him.

I think he is because of his arrogance. Also according to the canon law Gogeta doesn't exist.
