I believe when Piccolo faces off Freeza. The reason Dende does this is because he understands that Nail is in Piccolo.

With Piccolo

Piccolo and Nail are physically connected.

I really loved the line where after Gohan goes SSJ2,

Cell: Good, now the games will really get exciting.
*Gohan grabs senzu bean*
Gohan: No games.

I thought that was pretty cool.

Another one I just remembered is when they first introduce Yajirobe in the forest. FUNi did a pretty good job of getting the semi-hick talk going on with Yajirobe saying "brektist" and having him constantly wanting to eat opponents after they're beaten. He even says something like, "Do you have any plans for [Piccolo] Jr.? I'm hungry..." after Goku beats Piccolo in the tournament.

I would say something about the "I know what we need..." line from Movie 13, but as I recall, this is a thread meant for PRAISING dub lines and not just poking fun at them... >_>;

I generally don't have a complaint about most of the dub lines, unless it's really obvious that the scriptwriters screwed up on 'em. Hmm, let me think of some I really liked...

Most, if not all, of the stuff Super Buu said. I especially liked Justin Cook's attempt at psychological drama, and I think that had the show not been geared so much toward action, the impact from those lines might have been felt even better.

Pretty much everything Vegito said while he was a piece of candy. "What, didn't you say you were gonna eat me? I went through your mouth!" (Or something like that...)

Vejita's first line in Movie 13, which was something akin to, "You know, I was enjoying my first day off in a month until someone decided to step on my house!" One of the best lines in the dub movie, I think... God, who thought to give him that line and then give everybody else some stupid line of some kind? I think the writers were kinda off that day... (okay, getting off track here, sorry... @_@)

And then the line Goku says when shooting out of the lava on Nameck. "MY BUTT'S ON FIIIIIRE!"

Ahahahaha. Nobody can top that, and you know it.

As for Dragonball, I really liked the lines and how they were delivered in the fight between Tenshinhan and Goku (in the 23rd Budokai), and I liked how well Mr. Schemmel nailed Goku when Piccolo Jr. was toying with him near the end of their fight... very few if any actual lines there, to be honest, but it made me cringe and fuss hearing Goku in all that pain, which I think was the point.

So yeah... I might put up more as I think of them. Sorry for all the rambling... @_@

I thought those parts about Frieza eating Krillin were funny. Also when Goten and Trunks are relieving themselves on the way to see Buu:

Sometimes pure silence just won't cut it for those kinds of scenes (if anything, the silence makes the scene stranger).

At least I think that's how it goes. It was from the first episode of GT when Goku goes to leave the lookout. The delivery on that made me laugh a while. Another one I liked was Majin Vegeta's rant after Kaioshin called Vegeta and Goku's rivalry meaningless.

Even though the dub of movie 5 wasn't all that, the opening lines of Cooler were great. Especially the last part as he turns around as guys who never saw the movie wouldn't realize who he was until later.

"Look at him, so arrogant. It could be King Vegeta himself on there and he wouldn't know it. You've still got a lot to learn...brother."

Some of the things Goten says during the flying lessons with Gohan are pretty cute, I can't remember her name right now, but the Ocean actress who played Goten was great at displaying that side of him.

Goten (can't remember the exact line, but something like): "... A birdy... birdy... birdy...Goten is a birdy!"

Another line from the Buu saga I thought was pretty cool, even if it is just a minor re-write from the original line:

Goku: "I'm guessing an ascended Super Saiyan isn't much of a challenge for you, so how about I take it up to the next level?!"

I always thought it was a cool and well-delivered line. Freeza just screeched in the original (although that was cool too).

This line was quite good, since in the original Freeza just laughs in that scene.

I liked a lot of Goten's lines too, except the Funi version.

I love it when Goku first sees Piccolo after he fused with Kami and he just calls him "Kamiccolo".

It wasn't pure silence in Japanese either. They were saying something about how far they could shoot.
