I think it's because the gist of Vegeta's speech is essentially "The hell with Goku! We don't need him!", which is why Goku sneezes.Piccolo Daimao wrote:That's strange, though. I don't get the feeling that Vegeta is talking bad about Goku, just that that the Z-Senshi shouldn't rely on him all the time.

Comiket’s coming up again, and Toyble will be there. Volume 3 will be out, if he makes it in time. No, he will make it in time. Well, he wants to make it in time, anyway.

Yi Xing Long: It’s been a long time, Son Goku
Goku: It sure has, Yi Xing Long
Yi: I must explain to you what is happening now on Earth.
170
Disembodied voice: Hey! Son Gohan
Pan: Wh…who is that?
Gohan: Kaioshin-sama
Elder Kaioshin: [r] We’re searching for a solution to this situation over here too [l] We looked into all sorts of things, but…
171
Elder: I think that, in the end, we’ve got no choice but to get help from Goku…
Gohan: [r] Eh? From father!? [l] Do you know where he is!?
Vegeta: Hmph!
Disembodied voice: [r] W…well [l] We do know, technically, but…
Gohan: Where is he now!?
Elder: [r] Yeah, well [l] It’s this place called the “Ryu’oshin Realm”.
Eh, OK so ryuu-ou-shin-kai means “Dragon-King-God-World”. Considering how similar the phrase is to kaioushin-kai, the Kaioshin Realm, my guess is that it’s supposed to be a world home to beings called the Ryu’oshin (Gods of the Dragon Kings), who are somehow similar to the Kaioshin. I’d assume the good version of the evil GT dragons we’ve been seeing are in fact the Ryu’oshin, but we’ll just have to wait and see, I guess.
Boy, that whole "let's try and save the world without Goku!" thing almost lasted a full pico-second there.

This is some pretty sick self-referential humor here. :p

Ryu'oshin Realm? As if things weren't confusing already. How many damn realms are there?

Only the name has. Re: Toyble DBAF [June 13, 2010] pg 169-171
I skipped over this before, but for anyone who happens to be in Tokyo, the next Comiket will be on Saturday, August 14th, 2010. Toyble will be set up in West Section, Block 23b, club name “toywarble”. He’ll give out more information on what he’ll be selling there later, but as mentioned before, he’ll (probably) have DBAF Volume 3 ready.
Several of the commenters on Toyble’s site have noted that despite all the other (formally?) evil dragons being out and about, Yi Xing Long is in the “Super Yi Xing Long” form he only reached after absorbing all the other dragonballs. You can tell by the fact that he has 7 of what are presumably dragonballs in his chest, rather than only one in his head like in his regular form in GT. This could just be a mistake on Toyble’s part, but maybe there’s some secret to this.
Toyble’s contribution to this setup in DBAF has been that the macrocosm has another “moon”, similar to the Kaioshin Realm, which is where Goku went to at the end of GT. We first saw this at the end of AF Volume 1, when Elder Kaioshin was trying to find Goku. He concludes that Goku is in neither the living world, afterlife, or even the Kaioshin Realm, but had instead gone to that world, a forgotten world high above the Kaioshin Realm. We get a picture of this whole setup, clearly based on Toriyama’s map of the DB cosmos from the Daizenshuu. It’s only now however, that we learn this world is called the Ryu’oshin Realm.

Well, to give a brief overview, the daizenshuu and later guidebooks establish that the DB cosmos mainly consists of a giant ball, which I personally like to call the “macrocosm”. The top half of the macrocosm is the afterlife, while the bottom half is divided up between the universe where Goku and co. live, and Dabra’s Demon Realm at the bottom. The Kaioshin Realm is a completely separate ball, 1/10th the size of the macrocosm, which revolves around the macrocosm like a moon.Piccolo Daimaoh wrote:Ryu'oshin Realm? Paikuhan recently referred to Goku as a tenkai-jin, but tenkai is only ever used to refer to either God’s palace or the afterlife, which as explained above isn’t where Goku is. Toyble could just be using tenkai in a different way than the series, or perhaps he just means that Goku, as a dead person with a body, is by nature a person of the afterlife, even if he’s currently somewhere else.Piccolo Daimaoh wrote:Weren't they living in the Tenkai (Heavenly Realm)?

Thanks for clearing that up. You see, I just assumed that since was called a Tenkaijin, he must be from Tenkai.Herms wrote: Paikuhan recently referred to Goku as a tenkai-jin, but tenkai is only ever used to refer to either God’s palace or the afterlife, which as explained above isn’t where Goku is. @Herms:
What is written on these inedited pages from Toyble?

P.S. the first image is the epilogue of the latest printed version of the second volume. The last two, instead, are from an ultra-rare first-printed version of the second volume (first and last page). Please help me, and, by the way, thanks for all the good work done before!

The first image is a summary of the story so far, with labeled pictures of the main characters. It’s done in imitation of the intros for the tankoubon.
For the second image, the Japanese says “This is a doujinshi”; “This is a coterie magazine” is an English translation of this, ‘coterie magazine’ apparently being another term for doujinshi.
For the third image, too much of the paragraph on the left is cut off for me to make much sense of it. Vegeta is saying “Hmph…Worthless”.

So it's not possible to tranlate the summary and the other page? Neither a bit?

I can translate the summary, but really need a different picture of the other page, one that doesn't cut the top of the text off.macho_man wrote:So it's not possible to tranlate the summary and the other page? Neither a bit?
The summary
~The Story So Far~
The distant Dragon World.
Up until now, Son Goku and the other warriors of Earth have saved the planet from the attacks of Cell, Majin Boo, and numerous others. Even afterwards, the Earth was threatened countless times, but Goku and co. came to save the world by growing each time. And so Goku’s roll finally came to an end, and he vanished from the living word together with Shenlong.
It seemed that true peace had come to the world and the story was over. However…suddenly a new threat appeared on Earth! This man’s name was Xicor. Claiming to be Son Goku’s son, his goal was to destroy the Earth. To protect the Earth, Vegeta, Trunks, and Son Gohan challenge him to battle. But the gap between their power and his was all too clear.
Meanwhile, the Kaioshin Realm watched these events with great interest. Seeking for a means of resolving the situation, the Elder Kaioshin began searching for Son Goku’s whereabouts…And he finally caught on. “Could he possibly be in that world?” The Elder Kaioshin’s thoughts were not wrong. That’s right, Son Goku was there!

Thanks a lot for the traduction of the summary!!! I'll scan the entire web to find a better picture of that other page (it's not easy, but I'll try...) ^_^
