What's nice about the internet is that you can choose what to read and what not to read :). Though I agree; I'm glad people enjoy this place, but let's keep the ass-kissing to a minimum ^^;;. I know it's probably not meant to come off that way, though.

Anyway...

I suggest you give it a try.

Take care.
I *so* love the "You don't have a life" response. When you're giving it to a working adult.

"What are you doing with your spare time right now?" Is he serious? He's sending EX an e-mail, so clearly Mike's probably the type of person who checks e-mails in his spare time! I hate it when people ask redundant questions! :P

Also, where is this advice of which he claims to give? I found questions involving EX's social life, but no advice about anything. I can see why he said you must have felt unfufilled, EX; you wasted valuable time that could have been better spent socializing. Instead, you got your hopes hurtfully raised under the false pretences that advice may be given. Mayhaps Piccolo-san's life-lesson lay there: one must know when one is having their time wasted. In conclusion, if you're still reading this, EX, you might note that depending on your reading skill-level, anywhere between ten and forty seconds of your time spent reading this has just been wasted yet again, further teaching you Piccolo-san's lesson.

Either that or he really was just that ignorant, and any knowledge gained was purely coincidental. However, I have faith in mankind, so I would rather walk away with the belief that Piccolo-san really did have some deeper meaning in his joining the boards, breaking its rules, whining about a lack of resources to get DBZ on DVD, childishly insulting the board's admin, getting banned, and writing a pointless e-mail to the webmaster. Perhaps if ever I am as wise as he, I shall be lucky enough to understand this revelatory thought process.

IHey, he's not so bad after all.
E-mail from Piccolo-san wrote:It's clear you are merely a douche bag on a power trip.
Oh. I spoke too soon.
E-mail from Piccolo-san wrote:I forgive you. But I thought I'd give you some advice:
I'm sure this will be priceless.
E-mail from Piccolo-san wrote:I'm not sure what your social life is like, but I'm willing to bet it is unfulfilling.
That wasn't advice. Maybe he ment something other than what it sounded like, that actually is advice.
E-mail from Piccolo-san wrote:I mean, how old are you?
Maybe not.
E-mail from Piccolo-san wrote:What are you doing with your spare time right now?
Not emailing strangers who I said I don't care about.

And I bet all the ladies love a whiney, cheap, bastard.

At least he didn't say he sent you a virus, I kind of expected something like that.

I bet the advice was to go get laid, which, considering Meri's a live-in-girlfriend, is probably a little late.

Er, and, anyway, I resent the implication that just because I once ran a DBZ webiste, (though not for very long) and would be now if this great site weren't around, that I have not and can not get laid as I know someone who would disag... er...

*ehem*

Back to the topic!
It's true that things here are a lot different than in other forums. Namely other DBZ forums. This is my first DBZ forum, and after searching around for other DBZ forums, they are certainly unlike this one. Sorry for using the term DBZ forums 3 times.
Don't you mean four?

Anyway, Piccolo-san here would have been a prime candiddate for the Wall-O-Bans back in the day. Sad that we wont get to see his entry. Oh well. Though, I do have a suggestion for you Mike (and pardon if this is already there but it's been a while since I've read the rules).

You should add that we "Do not condone the purchase of bootlegs or illegal material nor will we tell you where to get said material" to the rules somewhere.

Alright, but in return you must erect a statue in the like-ness of the community. (i.e. a large exclamation point.)

And because I want to add to the amusement...
E-mail from Piccolo-san wrote:This is Piccolo-San, the guy you banned yesterday. I just wanted to say that you needn't worry - I don't take it personally.
And yet you see fit to send ol' Mike an email. Obviously you're not home upstairs, or else you would have thought of more productive methods of time wasting, and possibly even some that could accomplish things.
E-mail from Piccolo-san wrote: It's clear you are merely a douche bag on a power trip.
We gotta power.
E-mail from Piccolo-san wrote: I forgive you.
But... does Mike, or for that matter the community forgive you?
E-mail from Piccolo-san wrote:I'm not sure what your social life is like, but I'm willing to bet it is unfulfilling.
If DBZ is unfulfilling, I must have gone into a coma at some point, and am only dreaming the veritable enjoyment that this board can create.
E-mail from Piccolo-san wrote:No one who establishes a website devoted to a children's show could have possibly been laid - EVER.
And yet Mike lives with his significant other. Go figure.

Mike should let this guy back on, to see if he can amuse us more, before the final axe; 'cause after all that, I am very, very amused.

*ehem*
*slaps him around with a large trout* :P

Okay now that that's done, let me just say that I always enjoy it when people take time to e-mail someone to tell them that they don't have a life, yet they take the time to e-mail someone telling them that......I think you catch where I'm going with this one.

I agree with Dayspring too. How dare he mislead Mike like that! Except it goes deeper than that Dayspring. He mislead us all. We all read that e-mail in anticipation of finding out this cosmic advice that he would be giving to Mike. He raised our hopes, than he dashed them! Dashed them like a nasty big brother kicking your lego tower to bits. I want that minute I wasted back dammit! *yells Captain Kirk style* Ka, er Piccolo-saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan!

I think my favourite part of that e-mail is when he infers that Mike is a loser who can't get laid because he's wasted his time creating a website devoted to a kid's show. I see.....so if that makes Mike such a failed loser, what does that make someone like him that wastes their time searching for bootlegged DVDs of a children's show?

Meri is just a conspiracy - she doesn't exist. Did we here her on the podcast, even though she was supposedly there at the time?

Curiouser and curiouser.

Given the way they raped the ending of FFX, I wasn't a fan of X-2. Feel free to PM or AIM me if you want more ranting on the subject ;p

And fine, Mike can dress up as Gunner Yuna. My mistake :P
