Eh, I kinda liked the other Vegeta better. The current one just seems kinda off. I do like the whole blood scratches, though.

Here's what I'm thinking Steven, instead of the weird, scratchy '1', use a one-star dragon ball.

And the Orange box is 140mm wide x 28mm deep x 187mm tall.

You know, I would agree completely with that if there were gonna be seven or fewer sets, but with how the episode divisions are working out, it's looking like about nine sets.

Absolutley Amazing, I also like this Vegeta more, Since this is what early Vegeta looked like.

Are you planning on releasing all season boxsets like this?

Vegeta still looks off to me. The body still looks like its from the Buu arc. Also, the 1 on the spine blends in with the rest of the packaging. Maybe make it a different color? What did the UUCs use for numbers on the spine?

Number one, both versions totally rock. But I am in the camp of liking the other one. I somewhat think Vegeta should like this maybe.

But in all seriousness, make more!!!! Its awesome!

Well, I've finally finished the season 2 custom and uploaded that on my dA along with the template for anyone interested (and don't worry, the actual template doesn't have the crazy thick outlines like the crappy jpeg preview I put up).

As for how one would print this stuff out and put it on the slip case... I'll get back to you on that. It's been a while since I last did that with the season 1 set.

Seriously sorry for bumping the thread, but I figured it was better than making a completely new topic. I've finally got the covers up for Season Sets 3 and 4:

- Season 3 Custom
- Season 4 Custom

I'm working on Season 5 now and will probably start a redone version of Season 1 as well. Here's Season 5 so far:

I just took some of the screencaps from the season 5 thread, so if you guys have any better suggestions for screencaps, just bring it up and I'm sure some nice person who actually owns the set will put it up. I also need the text for the back of the cover. Checking amazon, it looks like they've got it, but I dunno where they'd put the paragraph breaks in.

Also, for future sets, I noticed that the Kanzenban don't have any covers with SSJ2 Gohan or SSJ3 Goku. Then I remembered that Toriyama drew some images for the DBZ R2 releases:

Would anyone happen to know where I can get these picture without the text and in higher quality? Checking around, it looks like the nice kanzentai staff may be able to help out...

Anyways, anyone else feel free to continue putting up their custom covers, joke custom covers, etc.

Steven Perry: You go kick in Ataris door and you get your job as cover artirst. I like the first Vegeta better, but thats the best cover attempt I've seen before.
