Oh man! You guys totally missed to point out that the nice message on the front of the cover is straight from the Z Dragon Boxes, word for word. :x

I really liked this one.
Dragon Ball online seems so....so interesting.
Hope it comes to NA.

Gotta love Mike's read of that message. "Passed down through the ages..." He should have given it the English dub touch, with grain in his voice.

In fact, there's a contest idea in there somewhere.

Lupin III should have been way higher on that list. He's such a great, iconic character, and is so versatile. One of the original Gundam characters, like Char Aznable, should be on there, too. But I guess, for an IGN list, it could have been worse.

I hate Brolli, too. Hate him. What a lame, one-note character.

The victim of violent head trauma as an infant [...] he's a simple bumpkin with a fair share of brain damage who's natural talents to work out what's wrong compensate for his broad lack of common sense. But he's also a fighter, through and through [...] he fight until he has, in no uncertain terms, beaten his enemy on terms they can both acknowledge. He doesn't want to kill anyone, or even prove that he can win... he just wants to know he can. He's an ineffably charming bastard who's manly leanings were really incendental, and yes, the fact that he was voiced by a squeaky woman made the combination perhaps all the more charming.

Wasn't that message from old DBZ cards? I think I remember reading it on the back of screen shot type cards like these. Those cards are a bit different though. The ones I had said "Is it Defeat or Victory that Waits in the Dark?".

Hah, the bloopers at the end make it sound like Mike forgot how to talk over his vacation.

This stems my personal bias towards exposition within a series over later guidebook notes, but the notion of Broli as the "Densetsu no Supaa Saiya-jin" comes from the film itself. In it, Vegeta doesn't say (for example) "Broli has transformed into the Legendary Super Saiyan state." He says he "IS the Legendary Super Saiyan."
To show my appreciation, I'll only beat them half to death.
