Aw, so it was just an "add a few new scenes in" sort of thing?

Oh well; even so, watching those new, beautifully made scenes makes me wonder why Toei hasn't thought of doing more new animation like it. I want a new movie/special so bad (especially after "Ossu!", which I adored, but was such a tease.) and the op scenes contrasting what Kai really is with what could've been makes them seem cheap to me. >_<
I would love to see the full Goku vs Freeza fight done in the style of this opening. It looked gorgeous.

Come on Toei, other old anime franchises do it all the time! Please give us a "Kai" movie or something?

It seems like there was some more censoring in this episode. While Gohan is getting beaten by Reacoom, he coughs up blood a few times in the Z version. This is not in this episode of Kai at all.

And here I thought the past episodes were a positive sign that the censoring has been toned down. This may not be a good sign for some of the Captain Ginyu/Freeza fights (as they later get pretty bloody.)

If anything, they should've censored Recoome's ass. XD

Anyway, the new opening animation looks damn spiffy. I was actually hoping for a whole new opening all together, but I guess that'll have to wait after the Freeza arc is over.

All in all a great episode. I enjoyed watching the Recoome/Vegeta fight again.

If it's okay, would somebody around here have a link for me to download the new opening in HD? I don't want to download any full episode, cause I keep hoping the Blu-Ray will be released here someday, and even if I did download one, I would lose all the quality when cutting everything else than the opening with my editing program!

Since I've never seen any part of an episode, I don't know what Dragon Ball Kai is like in HD, but all I want is to the opening. When the first episode was aired, somebody put a link to download the opening in HD, which was very useful for me to see what it was like on my HDTV, so I'd like to be able to see what the new opening is like on my HDTV as well.

If it's okay with the forum's rule, cause I don't know if even just the 1-minute-and-a-half opening would already be considered forbidden to put a download link to.

What the hell is up with Recoom's mouth not moving when he's talking?

Anyway, the ''new'' opening is freakin sexy. Only now I begin to think how Masako Nozawa will do during the SSJ transformation. Maybe this time there won't be a mysterious scream?

I'm actually a little concerned with the intro spoiling Freeza's transformations and Goku's SSJ transformation. For someone who is watching Kai instead of Z(which will probably be fairly common in a few years or in later generations) they're going to know what's going to happen.

With the way Super Saiyans are plastered all over TV and the marketting...I don't think there is much to worry about.

Yeah, I wouldn't worry about anyone being too spoiled, but I do wish they wouldn't take every chance they get to hype up Super Saiyans. This opening needs more Ginyu and co.!

Man I really miss Recoome's old voice, the new one is so generic...meh. "Redrawn" scenes looked much better than usual I suppose. Music is still inferior to the old one in my opinion.
