Probably because Mike doesn't want anything too distracting - which most flash object would be (unless they're static images, in which case, why use flash?).

Animated gifs are just gifs with multiple frames. They're posted all the time.

Kenshiro is probably closest to my true form however. When I first saw Fist of The North Star, my whole family and I were stunned at how much Kenshiro looked like me! That made me a fan, because I love watching myself making peoples heads explode by touching pressure points.

Nah, it won't work. Hokuto Shinken is immune to such things, and I'm sure you wouldn't want to waste good page when you could put it to much better use. I also only make their heads explode when they insist that they are not, in fact, already dead, or if they go around plundering villages and stealing peoples food and chickens...
