I would like to see how she made the wig though. If she bought hair and made it from scratch, then the price is good (real hair handmade wigs are expensive).
But if she bought a mass produced wig and then shaped it with glue, then I think that 50$ is a good price.

Anyways, thanks to Bura for posting this! I'm trying to get to Otakon for this year and so I have to part with this wig. I would prefer a real DBZ fan have it compared to someone else, so I'm glad for this small advertisement ^^

To answer your concerns, $265 is VERY CHEAP for a styled wig. For those who don't know average wig prices, good quality ones (meaning those that don't look like ratty, tangled, sparkly halloween quality wigs) are always going to be $40-$60 MINIMUM. The amount of high quality wig fiber and structuring material was approximately $250. This is true for all insanely styled wigs.

I did not even list the wig to factor in the labour that went into it! This wig is not styled with glue. It has a complicated 3D understructure which means it will never lose the shape of the spikes and needs basically NO work to keep it in style. Those who do not cosplay or make any sort of style wig probably do not realize it off hand, but the price is exceptionally decent.

$50 would be like putting THIS on your head, but it looks COMPLETELY wrong, and will crush and flatten under the slightless wind or bad transport.

The wig I list is like an everlasting hairstyle, which can be worn for as many outfits/characters as you want. I can tell anyone who reads this right now, this is not an item to miss if you want to be Goku! (or Goten, Bardock, Turles, Goku Jr. etc)

Cool costumes, it's a pitty I won't use any of the DB styled costumes in future, I need to get Boba Fett's costume for live gigs

Only if there will be some robotic designs which are fitting our style usable as costume in Dragon Ball. There are not unfortunately. I'll look as idiot wearing Android 16's costume.

Costumes of yours got me pretty enthusiastic tough, they are really nice, maybe the best I ever saw from all those custom made.

A punky wig in black. This wig is either called 'Punky', 'Tina Turner', or 'Rockstar'. (http://cgi.ebay.ca/HOT-UNISEX-Tina-Turn ... 5883429bfb)

The top is already fluffy and can be hairsprayed directly into the Gohan style. With Vegeta, you should try to add a widow's peak with felt and extension- but otherwise all you have to do is clip the mullet off. Minimal materials and labour, would estimate $50 at most total to make what you're asking about.

Don't spike your hair up unless your hair is actually black X_X. And STRAIGHTEN it if you do. Otherwise it's just an afro.


THIS guy (I met at ACEN) paid over $400 for his costume.


Far less than that and he could've been the real thing!!

That is actually a 5th generation Vegeta wig, so it took many trials to something that looked right without being too heavy in the back. ^^

If I don't get my Goku wig sold, I'll try selling the Cell saga Saiyan Armor there and a brand new Vegeta wig. ;_;
