Guys, stop picking on his usage just because he's not a native speaker. I think he got the message.

We don't know he's not, and considering the 'plz' I doubt he is. Beyond that, no one is 'picking on his usage'. Granted, what the others should have done isn't just say 'Type properly' and leave it at that.
There are
Rules here, one of which is proper grammar and spelling. And, as EX has often said, by posting on these boards you have agreed to follow those rules.

I just thought that there was no need to belabor the point that his form of writing wasn't abiding by the rules. If he continues writing like that, he'll be banned anyway as I would believe.
Considering his usage and grammar, you can tell clearly that he's not a native speaker. Otherwise, he would've just used grammatically correct net/text-speak.
Plus, not everyone has the ability to comprehend the rules in English, so I've spelt out what he's done wrong in Chinese.
Hopefully, he'll know what to do.

Because his username is 'alexxiaoxu3'.
The 'xiaoxu' part is definitely Chinese romanization, called pinyin. In other words, a Chinese form of roomaji that lays down the pronunciation of Chinese, like how roomaji does with Japanese. Most likely, 'Xiao Xu' is his Chinese name/nick after Alex.

Regardless, if he can't read the rules how does he hope to read the rest of the board?
The "plz" seems too English-centric to be used by a non-native speaker.

Like I said, a native wouldn't have such a grammatical style. Phrases like 'I'm look', 'someone have' and 'because want' in such a short post immediately expose his proficiency level - that he isn't a native speaker.
The use of 'plz' doesn't make someone a native.
Anyway, guys, can you all just take this lightly. The point about him getting the message about what he's done wrong across has been done so can we all just drop the subject please. I don't want this to turn into a 'flame war'. All I meant to do was just to clarify things.

He's obviously going to be banned if he doesn't type properly in english, those are the rules here, no matter if you speak it or not.

Romanji maybe? And maybe he just used it as his usnername because he liked the sound of it. That doesn't make you Chinese.

I really, really need to get back into the habit of posting.

COMPLETELY ignoring the horrendous typing skills...
If one is looking for DVD covers, it's generally for the nefarious purpose of printing them out for your illegally downloaded material. Which we won't tolerate here.
Yes, I'm making an assumption. Deal.

First of all, it's
rōmaji (or roma-ji or roomaji or even roomazi), without an "n"; second, that's what Pinyin is.
At any rate, no more posts here.
