"Ultimate Uncut" DVD Blue Color-Scheme

Post by Tanooki Kuribo » Sun Feb 19, 2006 2:27 pm

Hey, remeber when the Vegeta saga box set 1 had the running theme of red for every cover. Didn't they say that was because its suppost to represent the uncut-ish feel (or blood) of those DVD's? So now that the second set is blue, whats there excuse now?

It represents the mystical powers of the Nameks? It matches Vegeta's blue Saiyajin armor? Really, I haven't any idea. :/

Maybe they just don't want every box set to be the same color. :p

Brilliance! Sheer brilliance!

Nah, odds are, they just didn't want to use the same colors.

True. Say, if you have all the boxsets, and they are red........Could cause blindness if not careful

Well, the episodes that follow the events with Raditz and the training the Z gang goes through to prepare for the arrival of Vegeta and Nappa are packaged in red. It seems that the episodes detailing the actual fight which follows now get the blue treatment . . . and since those episodes will be enough to fill a five-DVD set (or am I wrong?), I'm guessing there's going to be yet another color to represent the adventures of gathering the Dragonballs on Namek.

I'm betting those will be green, myself. But who knows?

Maybe they are going with the Goku gi colors? Red, Blue, Yellow?

I guessed yellow from his laces. I don't know, we probably won't see the third box set for years so we'll forget this whole topic.

My money is on dark green for the namek disks, but i think the ultimate uncut covers look pretty good red or blue.

The reason for the blue? It looks better than the red. :P That's why.

Maybe because Goku wears a red and blue guise :D
Or Goku's main colour is red and Vegeta's is Blue.

That's probably what the "Namek Saga II" color will be.

Vegeta I - Red
Vegeta II - Blue
Namek I - Green
Namek II - Purple

What, no yellow?

I imagine the Ginew arc would be yellow. Purple is too close to red and blue.

Purple will probably be saved for Freeza.
