Was Kabba ever called a "he" in the recent chapter?

I think it was noted that the dialogue used gender neutral pronouns to refer to Kabba. The wiki has them listed as a male though.

It's not been specified yet. Although if the character were female, they probably would have hyped it up in the character design notes or the latest manga chapter. Unless it's intended as a big surprise. But I doubt it.

Yeah, the promotional blurbs refer to him with gender neutral pronouns and the chapter has Cabba use masculine pronouns when talking. Sometimes Females can and do use these pronouns to refer to themselves in Japanese though, so it's not 100% evidence for a male gender.

That said, the design isn't overtly female either. It lacks all the common Toriyama traits for said gender. Though, I guess if he can add some of his feminine traits to his more effeminate males, I don't see why the opposite couldn't be true.

Still, unless it's meant to be some big surprise, as Herms suggested, all signs point towards Cabba being male.

He's bishonen. More so than Future Trunks, who when I was younger and watched a preview of on Toonami, I thought he was a girl.

The square-ish head, (relatively) thick black eyebrows, and lack of definment in the pupils signifies male.

At least Gokû wouldn't get in pat-pat trouble if all of them were asexual. There'd be nothing to guess. It would make Gokû and Vegeta stand out quite a bit on Planet Salad though.

Cabba seems a tomboy to me since the beginning. That look she gives in the Champa's arc poster/ Super History book/ One of the keyframes that got leaked, don't let me drop my guard. I could be wrong too, but until proven otherwise... :wink:

He's a guy besides the eyes nothing indicates that hes a girl I feel like people are thinking he's a girl due vegeta comments about female saiyans look we'll get female saiyans in u6 just cabba ain't one of them.

I'm not attached either way. The only instance we have of "surprise this character's not that sex after all" in Dragon Ball we have is the whole thing with Upa and how Kuririn thought Upa was a girl at first until Gokû (I think?) revealed Upa's a boy.
