Website Down? (2006 April 22)

Post by Chaos Saiyajin » Sat Apr 22, 2006 11:10 am

I just checked the main site, and for some reason my internet comes up with an error everytime I've tried to visit the main site today...so I was wondering...Is Daizex down or is it just my computer?
I really, really need to get back into the habit of posting.

And I wanted to check the tracklists for the 2 CD sets I bought...

Hang on, you could try to get them from the Yahoo Podcast page: http://podcasts.yahoo.com/series?s=155c ... 2b4047d317

EDIT - Yay, it's already been 3 months since I've registered...

I know I can get the tracklists from elsewhere, but the way they're put together on Daizex makes it much more enjoyable... so yeah I agree, the world (of Dragon Ball on the internet) is falling apart indeed...

Hmmmmm.... I remember Julian saying that he was going to give the site a new look. Has that got anything to do with the site being down? I can't live without Daizenshuu EX! Help! I need Sparking Neo news!

There's no much new stuff for Sparking! NEO but ATARI announced they're releasing Super Dragon Ball Z in July. (Source here: http://www.gamepro.com/sony/ps2/games/news/53623.shtml)

Oh and Julian was online just before now...

That reminds me: I forgot to post a "Welcome back Julian" thread. Is it too late? If I did, would you say "welcome back"? He is an excellent webmaster, y'know...

If you're here Julian, spill the beans! Are you givin' Daizex a new look? Man, the anticipation is killing me.

I'm getting a little worried. It's not normal for a webpage to be down this long. :(

Yeah, no. I am about 95% certain it isn't a new layout [considering I am on retainer until September for that job], and while I don't know the whole story, he did make a bit of a tiny stink in the chatroom before going silent, in disgust of the webserver he's on.

It's highly likely it just went down. That happens from time to time when the server you're on isn't very good.

Dang, I was hoping for a new layout. I'm kinda sick of this one.

This actually has happened once before where the forums were down for at least 2 days. I have no doubt that it'll be back up eventually. No worries guys. :)

No worries. It's just that the server's down. Last week or so the host was suffering some kind of major attack/exploit, which caused about half-a-day of downtime. Today might be the same thing. Not sure what's going on; I usually get an e-mail update along the way... I'll keep ya' updated!

I like how the minute I post to say everything's OK, but it's just temporarily down... it comes back up ^^.
