Since then the album has been turned into a movie, a broadway show, and an orchestral performance.
But today my friends, I propose to you, the idea for the first-ever(to my knowledge) DBZ AMV Rock Opera!
I want to turn this amazing album into an illustration of Gohan's entire life, Utilizing all 25 tracks into one humongous AMV.
But I can not do it alone...
Which is why I am here, recruiting the help of those of you who wish to be part of something that can be great.
I know that there are some very skilled AMV artists in this forum, and I sure hope that there are enough of you who would like to get involved in this project.
So basically here's the breakdown:
There are 25 songs on the album, each roughly 3 minutes each (there is one song that is a ten minute instrumental.) Below is the list of songs on the album along with there time lengths and what part of Gohan's life they should include:
1 - Overture - 5:20 (Showcasing Goku and Chi-Chi's childhood meeting. As well as young Goku's adventures in Dragonball, his eventual marraige to Chi-Chi and his defeat of Piccolo Jr.)
2 - It's A Boy - 0:38 (Very simple one, showing Gohan as a baby)
3 - 1921 - 2:48 (This one should show Gohan as a younger child, with the Garlic Jr. movie up to the defeat of Radditz)
4 - Amazing Journey - 5:04 (This one should involve Gohan's training with Piccolo and the development of his hidden powers. Can also include his Ozaru Transformation)
5 - Sparks - 2:05 (Should involve more of Gohan's hidden powers, can include movies 2 & 3)
6 - Eyesight to the blind - 2:14 (Should show the arrival of Vegeta and Nappa, as well as the death's of Chaotzu, Tenshinhan, Piccolo, and Yamcha. Also the fight between Goku and Vegeta)
7 - Christmas - 4:32 (This one should involve Gohan, Kuririn, and Bulma's journey to planet Namek, also showing Zarbon and Dodoria, as well as the Ginyu force.)
8 - Cousin Kevin - 4:06 (This one should show the destruction brought on by Frieza. Basically make him look as evil as possible, even showing the destruction of planet Vegeta. And then show the attempts to destroy him by Gohan and the others, and lead up to the fight between Goku and Frieza.)
9 - The Acid Queen - 3:34 (This one is the fight between Final form Freeza and preSSJ Goku, it should show them fighting for a bit, and then show goku collecting energy for the Genki-dama and throwing it.)
10 - Underture - 10:04 (This is the big one, this is a ten minute instrumental song that will have a lot in it so I would like someone with a lot of experience to handle this one. This one will start off with them believing frieza is dead, but then they see him come out and kill kuririn, it will show Goku's SSJ transformation, and the final battle between the two, as well as namek's destruction. It should then briefly show parts of the Garlic Jr. Saga, up to frieza's return, and the arrival of trunks. Then it should show Gohan and the others training for the androids, and then their arrival. It should then show Cell's arrival, as well as him absorbing androids 17 and 18. It should end off with Gohan reaching SSJ in the Room of Spirit and Time.)
11 - Do you think It's Alright? - 0:24 (Simple one, just shots of Chi-Chi being extremly worried and paranoid about Gohan.)
12 - Fiddle About - 1:31 (This one should show perfect cell terrorizing the planet, as well as fighting Trunks and Vegeta, and then announcing his tournament on television.)
*13 - Pinball Wizard - (This one will show the final battle between Gohan and cell. His transformation to SSJ2, the cell jrs, the death of his father, and the final amazing kamehameha that ends cell's life.)
14 - There's a Doctor - 0:23 (Another Simple one, the celebrations after cells death and Goku telling everyone that he'd rather stay dead)
15 - Go to the Mirror - 3:47 (This will be the only one that will be completly from a movie, this one will show clips from movie#9 with Bojack, and Gohan defeating him by becoming a SSJ2 again.)
16 - Tommy Can You Hear me? - 1:35 (This one will be the first to show Gohan grown up. It will show him in high school, and it will introduce Goten and young Trunks.)
17 - Smash The Mirror - 1:34 (This one will introduce Videl, but not showing her liking him, but rather introduce her as an angry character with a short temper.)
18 - Sensation - 2:28 (This one will show Gohan as the great Saiyaman, fighting crime throughout the city, and being a big hero.)
19 - Miracle Cure - 0:12 (Another very simple one, just showcasing the people in the town being amazed by Gt. Saiyaman)
20 - Sally Simpson - 4:10 (This one will show Videl's affection towards Gohan. Showing the two of the constantly blushing, as well as Chi-Chi constantly bringing up marriage.)
**From here to the end, the songs will not be in the same order they are on the album, because it fits better with the story line.**
21 - Tommy's Holiday Camp - 0:57 (Another simple one, this one will show Fat Majin Buu being goofy and childlike and ultimatly beating up Gohan.)
22 - I'm Free - 2:39 (This one will show Gohan returning after his Mystic power-up from Elder Kaioshin. And kicking the crap out of Majin Buu, while being totally badass
. Until he evtually gets absorbed.)23 - We're Not gonna take it - 3:28 (This one will show Goku, Vegeta, and Fat Buu, each trying to deafeat Kid Buu on Kaioshin's planet. It will be before the Genki-Dama)
24 - Welcome - 4:32 (This one will show Goku asking all the people of earth to donate their energy, It will show the various people donating to him, as the Genki-dama grows larger.)
25 - See me Feel me/Listening to You - 3:41 (For the beginning part it will show the Genki-Dama reaching it's completion, and obliterating Majin Buu once and for all. Once the song changes to the "Listening to You" part it will show the end of DBZ to the Beginning of DBGT with Gohan as a father and the pwer of his Daughter Pan, showing that his legacy will live on.)
If a song has a * next to it, it means someone is already making that video.
I am aware that the lyrics of the song don't have much to do with the series, however it is the mood created by the song's styles that makes the video work.
I really hope we can get people to this, It has to potential to be truly awesome.
