According to the information found in kanzentai.com, the first appearance of the Tori-bot in the anime is episode 3. I have that episode, so I took a screenshot of it:
Now, what I'm asking is, are there any other appearances of the Tori-bot in Dragon Ball (and I believe there are some; I just don't know where)? If so, I'll be happy to know about them.
Thank you.
Oh, and one more thing: Shenron/Shenlong/Shen Long?

Apparently it's
Shinron.

Xinglong (pronounced Shinron in Japanese) refers to the star dragons from GT. The dragon who grants wishes is Shenlong (Shenron in Japanese), which is Chinese for "Dragon God."

I'd also point out that it's 'Shenlong', but since there's no "L" (haha, Christmas joke) in the Japanese language, it ends up being 'Shenron'. Like how they say 'Piccoro'.

I'd be happy to tell you the other times I appeared!!
I think I appeared only one time after this, unfortunately, in volume #42. I can't remember when (I have quite a bad memory, you see), but I think it was sometime around the 28th Tenka'ichi Budokai.
Also, for the "Shen Long" vs. A Billion Other Pronounciations and Spellings, Daizenshuu EX's Evil Dragons Tidbit should be of some help.

Not so sure about the anime, but I know he shows up again in the manga!
I can't remember the volume number, but it was while Trunks and Goten are trying to fuse. On their third attempt, Kuririn says something like "Hey! C'mon, Toriyama! It's obvious he's photocopying!" and tori-bot shows up and says "Heh... You don't have to pay me for those panels."

Yeah, unlike the anime, the Tori-bot appears more times in the manga. Why? I dunno. I'm pretty sure that even the uncut episode of when Goten and Trunks fuse for the first time doesn't have the Tori-bot in it.

Where have you gone, Tori-bot?!

I'm right here!
Oh yeah, I forgot about that time when Trunks and Goten were fusing... as I said before, I have a terrible memory!

Actual dialouge from Vol.24:
Kuririn: Hey, wait a minute! What's Toriyama pulling?! These panels have gotta be photocopies!
Tori-bot: Uh... Mr.Editor? You don't have to pay me for this page... really...
Just had to get that straight, it made me laugh quite hard.

I laughed very hard, as well. Although it was surreal (like Kuririn saying, "C'mon! Those lines just scream 'one-shot character'!" about Punta), it was Hella funny.

That really wouldn't make much sense in the anime, though...

I agree, since you can't (as far as I know) photocopy animation; if it were repeated animation, it would kinda have made sense, but, since Toriyama didn't have much to do with the anime, it wouldn't make much sense. And, it only really applies to the manga.

Yeah, most of Toriyama's memorable humor is from stuff like kicking a ball and having it bounce back at you after hitting one side of a panel, or being hit by someone else's speech bubble. You can't really get that kind of stuff from anime...

Yeah; the one I remember most is from when Goku was fighting Yamcha for the first time. Goku does his Jan-ken-po attack to Yamcha, Yamcha goes flying, bangs into the top of the panel, the panel breaks, and the impact from the panel sends Yamcha into those strange rock sculptures.
I loved that.
[Note:] Dragon Ball volume 1; page 131; top panel.
