About Trunks' Timeline

Well, I was just watching the movie: History of Trunks for the fifteenth thousandth time (spelling? lol) and I was wondering, why didn't the survivors wish all those killed by the androids and Goku with the dragon balls? That would've of course completely wiped out Trunks going back to the past though so...

Any thoughts?

Well, Piccolo died fairly early on against the Artificial Humans, taking Kami-sama and the Dragon Balls along with him. In fact, I believe the movie says he was the 2nd to fall (although the Manga doesn't state any particular order of heroes deaths in Trunks' Timeline).

Also, Goku couldn't be wished back because he died of "natural causes", which is why Kaio-sama thought the Great Elder might not have been revived on Namek when they wished all those killed by Freeza and his men back to life.

I believe that is all.

Actually he died first. Vegeta was second, I believe.

Actually considering Trunks' timeline is pretty much the same as the normal one up until the point where Metal Freeza lands on Earth, we can assume that the Great Elder passed on and his successor came in control.

However, that's where the problem begins. Considering the Namekians moved to their new planet, there is no way to get to the planet considering Goku (and Kaioshin) were the only ones who knew the whereabouts of the planet. Plus no spaceship on Earth can get there, and once again, no one knows the whereabouts of Mr.Popo (in case Kami had a spare

)

You utterly misunderstood me. I was saying that, during the events that happened in BOTH timelines, Kaio-sama ponders whether or not the Great Elder would be revived along with the rest, because he wasn't sure if Nail's pain had a hastening effect on it or not.

I wasn't saying this was different in Trunks' world. I KNOW it was the same.

People just keep mis-reading my posts lately. It will become irritating very soon.

I don't have anything to contribute but I just wanted to say in the Anime History of Trunks notice how it says "Even Kuririn fell to the Androids"
Why would they say that? Kurirun is good, but not that good.

I suppose that they refer to the manga (normal timeline) where Krillin was spared by the androids (as in the anime), and the fact that he wasn't spared in the future, showing how evil the Trunk's timeline androids are. Pretty much that. In the Trunks special, a non-wounded Krillin gets shot through his chest and dies probably instantly, so there is nothing saying that he got very strong.

I think what they mean by that is No.18 still kills Krillin showing that these androids, cyborgs really, are much more ruthless compared to the ones in the 'present' arc. Yeah, it was mentioned before that Piccolo had died early on and of course Goku couldn't be revived because the heart virus falls under the catagory of natural causes. I guess thats really it about that question.

Even I thought it was strange how Piccolo died so easily, then again he wasn't fused with Kami at that time... wasn't he?

It's just a odd dub line. The original doesn't have the "Even Kuririn" line.

The dub line went like this "Even Kuririn was destroyed by the ruthless duo"
