Oh sweet zombie Jesus - only 4 months, not 12 months? I might cream my pants.

I was under the impression that the boxset had been delayed for 13 months (to Oct 2007).Great Saiyaman wrote:My thoughts exactly, this was the given date since they first delayed it.BrollysKin wrote:When was it ever going to be 12 months?
The link says 20 bucks, which is what I paid for it.Maphisto86 wrote:My birthday just passed....![]()

GAH! I missed reading that! What's the point of calling it a box set then? That's not even the entire set of "Vegeta Saga 1" if you count the Ultimate Uncut Editions where they start "Vegeta Saga 2" at episode 22. And if it is, when do we finally get Vegeta vs. Goku on DVD? In April or May? Sheesh!Castor Troy wrote:I thought it would have 1-39.This collection presents the action-packed chronicle of sibling rivalry in its entirety with episodes 1-18.
I think I'm going on strike until those episodes get released before I buy any more DB/DBZ DVDs at all.
I'm betting this is either a typo, incorrect information or evidence we won't be getting any Dragon Box footage. If they ever wanted to 'milk' any dragon box footage froim the US, the time to do it would be now in larger box sets. I'm betting the commercial value in the US of Dragon Ball is going further down every day. If they wait much longer, there won't be anyone willing to buy it.

It probley is a typo. I mean, this is the only place it's poping up. Its not even (in my book) a reliable source. I would wait.I'm betting this is either a typo, incorrect information or evidence we won't be getting any Dragon Box footage
Even if it is true why do you think that means no Dragonbox footage? Maybe the Dragonbox footage takes up to much room so they had to cut down the episode number. Just saying, nothings fact yet.

Because, to me, it would seem Funi would just push the current UUE into box sets rather than get the Dragon Box footage. I have one disc from the single Dragon Box releases, and if they are to put an English Audio track, I believe they will need to put less episodes per disc (I remember the disc being almost full). But that said, they could just put less episodes per disc (which they should do IMHO anyways) since the discs are cheap anyways.Tanooki Kuribo wrote:Even if it is true why do you think that means no Dragonbox footage? I'm just not betting on Funi to do the true fans any real favors.
As far as the site being a good source or not, I dunno. I just happened to check it and notice it. If one place has the info and it is real, I will think we'll know soon enough within the next few weeks as far as the episode count.

Or maybe they'll split the 18 eps upon 6 discs or something if they are really dragonbox masters.ect5150 wrote:Because, to me, it would seem Funi would just push the current UUE into box sets rather than get the Dragon Box footage.
