Just finished listening to it and gotta mention something about the Sparking Neo stuff.
First off Julian is/was right about the fact that people too often take something as a personal attack whenever something they don't like is criticized, or rather don't really seem to understand how reviews work for that matter.
Now with most major reviewers I've found that whatever they're reviewing is held against the absolute BEST game(s) they've ever played, so whatever game in question they're reviewing basicly needs to match that of "the best" or go beyond it to be considered great. Like if the reviewer has seen better graphics, better mechanics, camera system, etc, and they play a game that has worse examples then the best they've seen then that's automaticaly a negative to them, as they know better can be achieved.
^This style of reviewing is even how Mike basicly looked at Sparking Neo. Note how Mike has played (what he considers) better fighting games (Street Fighter Alpha 3, etc) so if something can't come close to what the individual knows as being good, then it's dissapointing, because they know the game(s) can achieve better.
This is exactly how I feel about it too. They need to stop giving all these DB/Z/GT games a production time of less then a year, and put the time and money into a game for once to finally give us at least one truly great DB/Z/GT game. I mean look at the Smash Brothers games, or Resident Evil 4, or God of War, or Zelda: Twighlight Princess, etc, ie things that really benefit from the amount of work put into them, or rather are perfect examples of what a decent production time can achieve, because note how all of those games I just listed are going to be remembered for far longer and held in a higher regard then any of the current DB/Z/GT games ever will, as they just keep putting ones out year after year in the same fashion that sports games are done in.

Also as far as Sparking's "look and feel being the best match to that of the show" I've never felt that it's actual look is better then Budokai's or Super's, as it's done in a fan arty type style, while Budokai 3 matches the late DBZ (TOEI) style with it's designs/graphics. Not to mention stuff like the Kaioken (and just about every other attack, transformation, etc) look (or are animated) a hellva lot better in Budokai then in Sparking. However as far as the actual "feel" goes, then yeah Sparking does a better job of recreating the show then the others.
