An example of why Faulconer music could have fit GT

I think this song fits the scene well; not as good as the Japense perhaps, but it's still pretty good.
Anyone have this clip with Menza's music to compare??

I don't think the music from DragonBall Z would have fit with GT all that well. GT went for a whole new style, away from the style in DBZ. You know..

But then again, I'm all for the original Japanese version anyway.

It did fit, though kind of weird with Goku instead of Vegeta. Now Omega Shenron's destruction with "Ginyu Transformation" would've totally fit.

To further expand upon my point, someone got some shitty GT clip and shoved loud, balring crappy piano-faulconer, which isn't really music to begin withThe youtube poster didnt't even really do any work and the entire thing is moot because not only is it pointless speculation, but GT has been dubbed AND Faulconer's 'music' is terrible.

It is music. Not good music, and you might not like it, but it is music.
The YouTube poser didn't "really" do any work? So? Did the YouTube poster, or anyone else, hail him as the most prolific anime producer ever? What the hell is the point to saying he didn't "really" do any work?
"The entire thing is moot"? That doesn't even make sense. A point can be moot, a video cannot.
"Pointless speculation"? What speculation? Was there a prediction about future releases or dub-work? No, a guy just put different music to a video and said he liked it. There was no speculation about, maybe, a new dub with Falconer, or a new DVD release with selectable music - nothing. Just 'hey, I enjoy this".

Music-wise, i won't go in to it. It's 'fucking terrible' because no, it doesn't fit, and it is a moot video because not only does it not show any effort, but it doesn't fit and it's badly done. Not only does it fail to prove a point, it makes said point even worse off by it's terrible presentation.

Hence 'fucking terrible'.

Get a clue

And so on. But that's just me personally.

Speaking for the topic at hand, I'm not so sure that Faulconer music would have gone too well with GT. Granted it would have been better than what Menza gave us no matter what, but DBGT is not DBZ-- it just wouldn't have done to treat it the same way, or so goes my opinion.

Even though I don't care for Falconer's music, he is still leaps and bounds ahead of Menza, I think. And Menza is leaps and bounds ahead of Johnson. Falconer made some decent scores, you can tell when he worked hard on some, the New Earth Music, Mysctic Gohans theme, SSJ3, Kid Boo theme, Pans theme.

They were all quite good. For all the bashing he got Falconer at least I think was able to give a sense of emotion with his music. The majority of his stuff was random shit, but if he wanted to he could do better.

Menza, most of his music is boring monotone stuff, it feels like you're in some underground club where they serve coffee all day and read poems. Johnsons is just plain bad, extreamly cheap and generic.

It's all pretty dilly dally at this point and if I were to go further in to my own stance it'd cause a lot of undue hussy, but assume whenever I say these things that I am more or less attaching a silent "I think, IMO, tbehfnrjewh" and whatever junk.

I have to agree, it was fucking terrible. In my opinion, the music didn't fit the scene at all. It didn't really supplement the emotions that were supposed to be present in that scene.

I got the feeling that someone just slapped that shit together because they were bored. Fucking terrible.
