The Definition Of Reality

Post by JesseD » Fri Aug 03, 2007 12:22 pm

Quite possibly the hardest answer question:

Is it spelled DragonBall or Dragon Ball? There the same, but the second one has the space in between them. SO! Which way is correct? I tend to go with the first one... but that's me. What do you think is the right way?

Tankobon:

Kanzenban:

The answer? There really is none. In the intros to the anime, it always says "Dragon Ball" with the "Dragon" over the "Ball", but newer merchendise usually uses this logo:

So it's really a matter of preference.

The 'definition of reality', eh? :) Well, if you think about it, the only life you know exists within your minds as perceptions... no matter how stable and solid it may seem. There's no way of proving if any of this is 'real'; and so, 'true' or not, life is what you believe it to be. It can be anything you want. I define reality as being what you believe it to be. I've spent so long thinking about thi-

Oh, Dragonball. Right...

Well, there is no 'right way'. It can be whatever you want it to be... :P

(Holy moly... I need to get my ass over to some philosophy forums and chat!)

The definition of reality is pepperoni.

It is true. Do not question it. It came to me in a dream.

It depends how you have it... off topic though. BUT, Pizza is one of the greatest foods on the planet. I love it. And no, I'm not some fat guy who loves junk food.

*suddenly has the urge to suggest someone other than me starts a philosophy thread over at randomness*

The space/no Space thing has made me rather hesitant to use the title in posts though. Which goes to show that I'm too worried about being taken seriously. Which is ironic considering all of the (horrible) attempts at humor in everything I do. I should get a book on psychological conditions.

I tend to prefer "Dragonball" though, because Jaws pronounces it more naturally that way.

This is the way I see it. "Dragon Ball" for Dragon Ball & "DragonBall Z" for DragonBall Z. Makes enough sense to me. In the end of the day I tend to ignore the Z, so I use "Dragon Ball" more often. However when I'm talking about the video games (in which they use the Z property a lot), I'll just say DBZ for short.

Personally I use Dragonball. It could go either way, I guess. I just adopted it after the Dragonball Z logo didn't have a space between the words.

"Cthulhu fhtagn"?

Anyway, I've always used "camel caps" to make 'DragonBall'.
