Why Mono? (vs Stereo; DB TV Audio)

Post by Saiyan BayBays » Thu Jan 31, 2008 9:39 pm

Hey everyone, I have always wondered why DBZ was recorded in mono for so long. I understand the decision earlier on I guess, but how come they never made the switch to stereo?

It was probably a big deal, considering many cartoons would have an "In Stereo" caption during the start of theme songs. I think some live-action fantasy shows and game shows did that as well.
