I found these on some random forum. I thought they were interesting and I think you guys would like to see them. I've never actually seen them before:

Cool, I like the little picture of Chaozu standing next to Kuririn.
And i wonder what the sign pointing to Nappa's head says? Proballly something like "younger Nappa has hair" or something.
I finally bought a gamecube. To bad they don't make any games for it now.

The young Nappa is from the Bardock TV special isn't it?

Looks like it says "Hair like the stem of an eggplant" (nasu no heta no youna kaminoke). And Nappa did indeed have this hairstyle in the Bardock special.

Thanks for the translation.

The two top-most Gokus on page '98' are from DBZ movie 8.

Anyone know if these are in some guidebook?

Those are really awesome! Love the Nappa/Vegeta one. Vegeta looks so small!

Oh, but the SSJ4 Gogeta one is my fav! 8)
Next quest: Buy the Super: Broly and Super Hero Blurays, also Daima whenever that releases in the states. Also the Super Manga!

Fan of Dragon Ball Z and various other Anime since '98! ^^

I know that production models like these are included in Daizenshuu 3, 5 and 10 (the animation guides), 6 (the movie guide), and 7 (some are used in the character dictionary to go along with the entries of various filler and movie characters). The rubber-suit Z warriors one is in Daizenshuu 7, and the height comparison chart is in 5. I think that the Chaozu one may be in Daizenshuu 3, the baby Goku from movie 8 in Daizenshuu 6, and the young Vegeta and Nappa one in 6.

The other ones might be in the two new anime guides, Tenkaichi Densetsu and Son Goku Densetsu, which I don’t have but which would probably have that sort of thing in them. The SSJ4 Gogeta one might be in the second GT Perfect Files book (Since the first one only covered the Bebi portion of the series).

It’s also possible that all of these are scans of the originals, and not of the reproductions that appear in the different guides. They do look a bit…grittier than I seem to remember the ones in the daizenshuu being.

But seriously, those are really nice.

I didn't know drawing a dragonball was such a complicated process, though... :?

It has more to do with the coloring process. Those lines with the numbers that point to different parts of the ball indicate what color they are supposed to be.

Was the sketch of baby Goku being held upside down in the Bardock special? I don't recall from memory ever seeing it. Then again it has been a good year since I popped that DVD in.

I don't think so. It kind of reminded me of when King Vegeta sentenced Broly to be killed. That's the only time I recall a baby saiyan being held in the air by his tail like that.

The height chart thing is really cool. I wish that someone could post up some earlier versions of it from previous sagas so we can see how everyone's grown and changed since Raditz's arrival or earlier.

By the height chart, I can see why they call him the Ox King.

That man is huge.
I always thought he was big, but geez...

Those are very cool. I like the cast sketch. Interesting for seeing the height differences. Concerning Vegeta and Buruma, they made him taller as the series went on. Guess they figured that he should be taller than his romantic interest. If you watch the anime back during the Namek saga, specifically the scene where she has the nitemare that he's found her and the dragonballs, she's clearly taller.

That's true, but he even seemed shorter in the Buu Era. Like during that scene 10 years later when they visit Goku.

What forum was this from?

And what's with the SD Goku/Cell one? To show...their SD differences?
