Remastered season 5 trailer.
I finally bought a gamecube. To bad they don't make any games for it now.

Remastered in HD. Yeah, except that it's . . . like, not.

No, it's not. It's only 720x480, the two current 'HD' resolutions are 1280x720 and 1920x1080.The Time Traveller wrote:It is HD, just not HDDVD.
Actually, if you buy this set you're sending them a message that you don't want the Dragonbox. The Time Traveller wrote:Hopefully Funimation will pay attention to what fans want and release the Dragonbox versions on Blu-ray.
(é) Yeah, I'm famous. Super famous. I start things.

No. The season sets are *not* "high-definition". The original source material is remastered in high-definition, but it is inherently impossible for what you purchase on standard DVD for these season boxsets to be anything other than standard resolution (480p).
While the eventual Blu-Ray releases will be distributed in 1080p, do not allow yourself(ves) to misunderstand the technical aspects behind standard DVDs.
That being said, I am watching these new threads extremely closely, and will not hesitate to ban & lock without additional contact.

26 episodes on 6 discs? I guess I was right about them only sticking the Imperfect and Perfect Cell sagas together. Guess they'll put the Cell Games in one set. It has over 30 episodes.
I am sooo glad that I have the Androids, Imperfect Cell, Perfect Cell, and Cell Games on the original Funi DVDs.

Next quest: Buy the Super: Broly and Super Hero Blurays, also Daima whenever that releases in the states. Also the Super Manga!

Only because they know how much BS they'd gotten when they advertised it for Season 1. It'll still be in wide-screen. Hell, the Trunks/Bardock DVD's trailer featured 4:3 footage, but guess who, FUNi has it in 16:9 anyway.NeptuneKai wrote:Oh my god I didn't hear "WIDESCREEN" once! Funi seems to be getting their shit together (at least slightly.)

...I'm usually not into hating on Funi, but seriously? They need a better script for that advertisment.
On another note, I get laugh at hearing Sabat's voice doing the ad. But I am easily entertained by any dubbing companies over-use of the same 5 people.
