Universe One is called the "Supreme Universe". Their rank at the beginning of the Tournament of Power is No. 1 out of 12, which grants them exemption from the tournament.[1] The universe is ruled by the Kaiōshin Anat, the God of Destruction Iwen, and his attendant Angel Awamo.

Anat, known for his gentle smile, is the Kaiōshin of the universe with the highest mortal level.[1][2] Anat's name pun is unknown, but many Kaiōshin appear to have been named after deities, and Anat (アナト/Anato), a violent war-goddess of Ugarit mythology, is a likely source for his name.[3] |

Iwen (イワン)
Iwen's body conceals intense emotions which are contrary to his cuddly appearance.[1][4] Iwen's name is likely a rearrangement of the Japanese transliteration of "wine" (ワイン/wain), an alcoholic beverage made from fermented grapes. His name pun follows the theme of Gods of Destruction and Angels being named after alcoholic beverages.[3] |

Awamo (アワモ)
Awamo is an Angel whose high level grants extraordinary sensory capabilities.[1] Awamo's name is likely derived from Awamori (泡盛), a distilled alcoholic beverage made from long grain indica rice and unique to Okinawa, Japan.[3] |
