06 May, 784^{[note 1]}	Oob arrives on Papaya Island. Son Goku announces that he will enter the 28th Tenka'ichi Budōkai. Vegeta also decides to enter, and the two have Son Goten, Trunks, and Pan enter as well.^[1]
07 May, 784^[2]	The 28th Tenka'ichi Budōkai is held.^[1] Goku leaves to train Oob.^[3]
