Notes
Certain dates and date ranges for Age 761 and Age 762 provided by the timeline within Daizenshū 7 and Chōzenshū 4 directly contradict information provided by the manga and anime. In these instances, the date of Vegeta and Nappa's arrival on Earth on 03 November, 762 from the guidebooks' timeline is honored, and conflicting dates leading up to this event are adjusted to more accurately reflect the original story.
- ↑ Though Dragon Ball Z's first movie contradicts elements of the original story, the timeline within Daizenshū 7 and Chōzenshū 4 does include it as taking place in Age 761.
- ↑ Working backwards from 03 November, 762, Dragon Ball chapter 209's narration states that it takes Son Goku 6 months to traverse Serpent Road, and when he arrives, North Kaiō in chapter 211 tracks the Saiyans' location and states that they will arrive on Earth in 158 days. Because "6 months" could be a rough estimation, Raditz's arrival on 28 November, 761 is an approximation. The timeline within Daizenshū 7 and Chōzenshū 4 lists this event as occurring on 12 October, 761, which directly contradicts the aforementioned timeframe. Additionally, both Turtle Hermit and Piccolo in chapter 213 comment on the fact that the Saiyans arrive one month earlier than Raditz's estimate of one year from the time of his death, provided in chapter 204. The timeframe between 12 October, 761 and 03 November, 762 is nearly 13 months, one month longer than Raditz's estimate.
- ↑ Dragon Ball chapter 208 shows the evening and night of (approximately) 28 November, 761. In chapter 209, Chi-Chi, worried because Son Gohan and Son Goku were supposed to return home before dark, heads to Kame House, noting that this chapter takes place on the following day.
