18 August ^[2] 778^[1]	Bulma holds a lavish birthday party. Beerus, a God of Destruction, awakens from his 39-year slumber, where he dreamed of a Super Saiyan God. Beerus and Whis head to Earth, join the party, and discover Earth food. Trunks falls for Mai from the Pilaf crew. Dende reveals that Videl is pregnant with Son Gohan's child. Gohan, Vegeta, Trunks, Son Goten, and Videl help Son Goku become a Super Saiyan God. Beerus defeats Goku, but decides not to destroy Earth.
