"Activation" is Volume 5 of "Dragon Ball GT: The Lost Episodes", the belated North American release of Funimation's English dub of the first sixteen episodes of Dragon Ball GT.

Summary

This plot summary is given on the DVD cover:

Luud has awakened! After being fed his faithful followers, the monstrosity slowly comes out of his slumber with one goal in mind...crush Goku and Trunks! As if things couldn't get any worse, Dr. Myuu feeds Pan to Luud, giving the idol enough strength to be more than the Saiyans can handle alone! Undaunted by her new surroundings, Pan organizes a revolt within the belly of the beast with a few unexpected allies. Only a precise strike from both inside and outside Luud will succeed in toppling the monster than [sic] gains in strength with each passing moment.

  • Character Profiles

With the terrifying awakening of Luud now complete, Goku struggles to discover the mechanical menace's weak spot. Throughout his years of hard work and countless battles against all manner of foes, Goku has learned that anyone or anything can be overcome. The hard part is figuring out exactly how. But through his trademark perseverance and dedication, Goku should have what it takes to triumph over any opponent!

Giru better watch his step! The inquisitive little robot is beginning to make an enemy he doesn't want in the person of Pan! Giru hopes that a brief pit stop on his home planet will soothe the nerves of his traveling companions and bring him closer to Pan. But is there something lurking on Planet M2 that even Giru couldn't predict?

Planet M2's main enforcer and Dr. Myuu's right hand Machine Mutant, General Rilldo has a most unique ability. Not only is he constructed from a high-density metal, but he has the power to control and manipulate all metal on Planet M2. This is no small feat considering the entire planet is also metal based! Dr. Myuu believes no one, not even the great Goku, can defeat Rilldo on his home turf.

Do not let appearances deceive you! On the surface Luud looks more like a big cuddly play toy that just happens to be dozens of feet tall, made of metal, and with a mean streak a mile wide. Make no mistake, Luud is a mindless machine of complete and total terror and destruction. But everything, even this nearly perfectly constructed assassin, has a weak spot. The only problem is that no one knows where it is, and Luud isn't talking!

Dolltaki's obsessions have reached a fever pitch! Not only does he turn Pan into a doll, but seeing that Cardinal Mutchy Mutchy is no match for Super Saiyan Goku, Dolltaki unwisely turns every last Luud follower into a doll and feeds them all en masse to their idol! He believes this stroke of genius will turn the tide of battle in his favor.
