As imply-able from my profile pic, Fist of the North Star is a favorite. And Ken at last beats Cell! Although... he could only do it if he knew where Cell's meridian channel vital points were; I have to assume they are different from humans?

Re: Your personal way of saying names.
But they sound the same. Its when written that the mess comes up. Do you mean Bejiita and Vegeta etc? Cause those are totally not the same sounds. SAYin and SIGHin are also different, and Kaioushin to Supreme Kai are obviously different words. Only things like Freeza to Frieza are only spelling con...

Re: Your personal way of saying names.
I write out long vowels, but only in Japanese names. Roshi is Roushi; Goku is Gokuu; Zeno is Zenou, but Vegeta isn't bejiita.
For the disputed names, I'll just list: Blooma, Tenshinhan, Kuririn, Yamucha, Android, Saiyan(correctly), Vegerot.

Bardock saying that they would soon be tracked down by their scouters if they flee with Goku. If they would be tracked down, shouldn't they just... you know... Throw away their scouters!? Maybe they meant Freeza would use his scouters to track their energy since they had not learned ki supp...

Re: Son Goku's name pronunciation confusion (DB Ep 21)
Yes, I belive it was a kunyomi/Onyomi switch up, but I don't have that part in Japanese so I don't know the exact mistake. Son Gokuu is the Japanese name based off of Chinese (from a long time ago, and after pronounciation shifting into Japanese phonology.) Edit: to explain more, most kanji have mul...

As far as relating to characters being a requirement for enoying a story, who on Earth actually feels represented by Gokuu? He's a dumb but genius jobless battle crazed asexual alien who doesn't age.

Re: Queerness in DB
Otokosuki is pure steryotype, but only shows up for a few panels and one gag. Blue is a mix of steryotype and actual character, and his most problematic scene is anime only. Whis may or may not be. If only by there there not being many go's at it at all, there are very few problems.

Re: GT or Super? Which one is the best?
I like that Super is not using ABC logic for villain when GT was still using the same format that had DB and DBZ had. With every villain being stronger than the last one. I feel like not every main villain to be as powerful as the last one. They can still be powerful and a major threat, but still w...

"Different timelines" had never made something confusing simpler. Nor made non linear stoytelling linear.
Fortunantly, Dragonball is still easy to follow: manga/Dbz/kai -> Super/Gt. And everything else is standalone.

Cell was going too, villians before him are maybe unable too and villians after him (Buu, Beerus) are just in it for the the fights.

Re: The unique popularity META effect with DB right now
TFS isn't a "Dragonball company" though? I doubt Toei or Japan considers them much at all, certianly not as a holy trinity of Dragonball production. I mean, it's a fan parody, not the actual show. Youtube in general is also a non factor for them as it's all pirated.

Re: Does Goku know how to use swords?
If you're thousands of times stonger and faster than your opponent you don't need skill or experience to win. Also, at god level the damage done by the sword is like 99% ki anyway, and Gokuu might as well stick to shooting from his hands.
