Re: Episode #0407 (19 June 2016)
Maybe it'll be left in as a kind of deliberate elephant-in-the-room thing, only to be addressed by a gag character like Pilaf or maybe even Kuririn as a joke. I mean, at this point, explaining it with a gag as "fuck you his hair's blue now" is the only way that they could possibly address it. Though ...

Re: Why do they seem to be pushing Mai x Trunks?
Because it's cute and people like both of those characters. Or at least, I find it to be really cute and endearing, and I like both Mai and Kid Trunks as characters.
I mean I get how some people find the fact that Mai is a 40 year old woman in an 8 year old's body to be a little weird and creepy ...

Re: The last thing Bulma saw...
Flashbacks to Bulma and Gokuu's childhood wouldn't have worked because we're not supposed to know what Black looks like yet. Maybe have a tear roll down Bulma's cheek or something before she gets incinerated, but Black's identity has to remain unknown until that moment at the end of the episode.

Re: DragonBall VS Ratchet and Clank (Franchises, not charact
Like others have said, Dragon Ball is a 30 year old franchise whose cultural influences in both the east and west are prevalent to this day.
I've never played a Ratchet and Clank game, but I can only assume that it's like Spyro in that it's an incredibly overrated series of 3D platformers that ...

In the pirate cave, when Kuririn and Bulma comment on General Blue's sexuality, the joke isn't that "gay people are bad", the joke is that "Kuririn and Bulma are being assholes".
That's the unintentional, thirty-years-of-hindsight-omg-I-can't-believe-people-thought-this-way joke, for sure, but I'm ...

Re: General Yamamoto Rip off thread
That's just not an accurate assessment. The Kai pieces that WE have at least documented are for good reason: they're note-for-note/progression-for-progression the same as the blockbuster films they're stripped from. If it wasn't such a legitimate concern, Toei would not have - for example - done ...

Re: General Yamamoto Rip off thread
The sad thing is that while several of his pieces ARE plagiarised, the majority of these cases are the famous ones from the original Budokai soundtracks; when it comes to his stuff in Kai, the examples that people point out are mainly themes with connections that are tenuous at best with other songs ...

Toriyama stated that Goku realized how better the SSj than SSj2/SSj3,which is why he only uses the to go Blue. And Goku himself said that Super Saiyan Blue drains his stamina a lot.Regular SSj3 burns energy so fast, just imagine if it's mixed the God ki.It won't be any better than Kaioken.

Why didn't Gokuu...
...use higher grades of Super Saiyan combined with Super Saiyan God as opposed to Kaioken. I mean I'm so glad to see the latter technique return, but Gokuu said himself that if he used it with Super Saiyan Blue it had a 90% chance of completely destroying his body. Whereas higher forms of Super ...

Re: Young Jijii or Toyotaro/Toyble?
I prefer Young Jijii, and his art is definitely more refined and detailed; the only problem I have with his stuff is that particularly when using Super Saiyan forms 3 through 5, I can barely tell the characters' faces apart.

Gotta find that Dragon Ball!
Don't stop until you got 'em all, the seven magic balls

Re: New or Old animation
Even the best episode in super is worse than the wrost episode in any old animation....In new animation only the movie BOG is nice (even ROF isn't nice).
I don't think we've been watching the same show .

Also why is Cha la the main theme for DB now ? Makafushigi adventure is much better and the original!
Makafushigi, or at least remixes of it, were used throughout Dragon Ball Z, but it was utilised less as a theme for the franchise and more as a character theme for Gokuu. Cha-La, We Gotta Power ...

No, you're not hearing things. The Super Boo theme is practically a note for note copy of Marmalade by System Of A Down.
I can hear the parts which you say are similar, but they're so basic that it's not a stretch to suggest that they were thought of completely independently from one another ...

When Gokuu got his arse handed to him in the legendary form by a random clown robot built on Earth. For me, that was when the mystique kind of faded.
