See, the whole idea of the Golden Oozaru was kind of the biggest piece of evidence that the SSj4 concept was mistimed. They had to create this whole "higher" ape form in order to justify the whole ape direction, since the SSj forms were placed as significantly better than the Oozaru transformation ...

Ssj4 had the base hair color to balance out the colors. This Heroes inspired version has too much red going on.

You're missing the forest for the trees here: the issue is that Vegeta's new form isn't being woven into the plot as a part of a character arc. There's nothing we can do about a producer wanting to sell new merchandise, but for the series to not at least craft a character arc around it is bad ...

Well, having read the thread I agree it's possible, with some effort, to satisfactorily explain Vegeta having SSj3 and not using it again later - especially if they happen to make it a plot point later in Daima (doubtful, but could still happen).

As for a reason to reach the finish line on GT, if you enjoy it, why not finish. If it's out of duty, then don't. It's a waste of time. If your belief that being non-canon is the reason to not continue, then I think it's an odd reason.
