Who do you prefer: Bulma or Chi-Chi?
Toriyama:
To be honest, I’m really not fond of Chi-Chi as a character. (laughs) In the middle of the comic, I started to think, “I don’t want to draw her anymore,” and, sort ...

Re: Tournament of Power Eliminations
I have watched the episode again
Frieza did not eliminate Batsy, Batsy eliminated himself. Roh or Sidra even commented on it
For those who take Herms' word as law; "Gargoyle guy rings himself out running away. Oops. Now they're down to only three fighters!"

Eh, kinda ridiculous. It's his character. Let it be. It's not reality.
It's a show targeted toward kids that played up sexual assault for humor in the episode. It's not surprising there'd be complaints about it.

Agreed. The show would be much better if they went on a two-episode journey to planet Zuputo to find the divine alien recuse who'll give them the super ultra divine seeds they can use to power them up to SSG levels.
While I agree with the sentiment behind it, it would have been nice to include ...

The problem here is that they could be executing it much better. Just give these characters powerups already. Even if it's a bullshit one, people would get over it eventually. But I don't think they'll ever get over them consistently trashing the power scale.

Pretty much. The word "lazy" is misused so much in fandoms that it becomes hard to use it in serious critique.Mazingerdestro wrote:I think people use the word "lazy" for others when they are too lazy to think of an excuse.

Re: Predict the Episode # Where Krillin Gets "Krillin'ed"
I've actually felt Krillin's gotten better received since TFS. It might be more time going by and looking more at his role, but I remember growing up, it seemed more people talked about what a coward and how pathetic he was. Now, it seems more people recognize how he was still always there to help ...

7 I wouldn't really consider a plot hole, but more of a weird time loop and think it works better in the story for them to have met even for a bit before meeting again in the future.
The anime's time loop is unarguably a plot hole since Goku Black cannot logically create the circumstances by which ...

I find it arrogant and obnoxious how they say the manga is absolutely better. /jk
It's well-put together, and I almost shudder to think how much time was put into it, but I do disagree on certain points. Just to use one, I'd say Frost worked better in the anime where he actually had a real reason ...

It's also worth noting that General Blue wasn't a pedo in the original manga Toriyama was responsible for, but in extended anime scenes made by Toei.

Re: DB/Fiction's Handling of Diversity
I always enjoy more diversity in media, though in most Japanese media, it usually means more female representation since it's rare for more ethnicities to get representation due to Japan being a very homogeneous country. In that way, it's still pretty cool for a character like Uub to be considered ...

You're underestimating the power of Krillin.Lord Beerus wrote:I'm staggered by that rating. I truly am. Can't believe a filler episode would score that high of a rating. Perhaps the advertisement of Freeza and Cell returning had something to do with it.
