I have a feeling Merus will turn out to be a traitor or something. On its own, the chapter is really fun and at the end of the day that's what matter the most in a DB story to me.

Maybe his magic is weaker if he doesn't 'eat' people's life energy for a certain period of time. We also know his magic can be taken away though I don't think Goku would consider it fair since he wouldn't be at 100% of his power.

Knowing how DB works, could there be another villain who's helping Goat guy? Anyway, I really like stories that show Goku not being able to uniquely rely on brute strength during a fight so I hope this story is one of those. Also because I really don't care about power levels or whatever.

Only saw it once so my memory is kinda fuzzy and I don't remember everything though I was really amazed at the animation and CGI never bothered me. Yeah sounds like another magical type villain and I like it. Generally, those type of characters don't stick too long in DB though and are quickly discarded to focus more on the hand-to-hand combat for some reason. Hopefully, it will be longer than 10-15 chapters because I really miss long arcs.

Yeah, I also thought it means that angels can't resurrect those killed by demons, not the DBs.

So impatient to see that Jaco and the Galactic Patrol are being explored more in this arc and also for Buu to become (hopefully) relevant again. I also love detective-type stories so it will be interesting to see to he handle this mystery in the manga. I imagine there will be an anime version of thi...
