Re: Dragon Ball websites and forums you've been into
I'll never forget when I enrolled at the Polytechnic of Milan in 2002, and they asked me for my email address, which was vegeta.ss4@dragonballgt.it at that time. The look on the face of the lady who processed my application was priceless. Both that email address and the portal which provided it don ...

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
If anyone was waiting for a heads-up, we're finally back to the main story... sorta. We only got a quite plain cover page for now, but at least the specials are finally over. Except that they're already planning new ones, we're never going to see the end of this, are we?

Done'd. I wasn't sure how to interpret some questions, but I hope this helps!

I almost forgot that this was a thing, again, I stopped reading when this pointless chapter began, is there any ETA on the new proper content? I seem to remember they said something like May, are we getting close yet?

I doubt you can have a use for an idiot like me, but feel free to nudge me if you'll ever need something translated to/from Italian and you don't want to rely on automatic translators.

Re: Crossover that should happen
Not completely on topic, but surprisingly well timed since it came out yesterday, xkcd ironically puts Goku alongside the characters from the tv show "Friends": https://xkcd.com/3235/.
... yeah, I don't think that would work.

Re: Crossover that should happen
Aside from the obvious ideas, some of which have already been mentioned, such as Naruto, if I try to think about this, there are a lot of similarities between Dragon Ball's main cast and Inuyasha's.
Inuyasha and his half brother Sesshomaru are basically the strongest characters in their universe ...

Re: Do you look back on your old posts and regret posting them?
My posts here have always been pretty normal. After all, I joined quite recently.
My earliest posts on some other forums, though, are a completely different story. I could barely speak English 25 years ago, and I can't deny that I was bad on top of that. I've been banned from several forums, and I ...

Re: How do you feel about the trope where everyone waits for Goku?
This trope was bad, but its replacement in Super, e.g. "Buu fell asleep", isn't any better. I guess Dragon Ball really isn't meant for an ensemble cast. Someone recently wondered about something tangentially related to this.

Re: Do you think Dragon Ball will be remembered in 60 years?
Indeed, but they're still actively publishing new stuff, the MCU is a multibillion dollar franchise by this point, and DC just rebooted their universe thanks to James Gunn, it's not like they're letting people forget that they exist, we know that Benjamin Parker is going to die. By comparison ...

Re: What differentiates ki training from simply working out?
One has to wonder how Roshi trains someone who becomes his pupil at a later time, theh, such as Yamcha. I don't think Yamcha did the milk delivery bit and so on, so we have to assume that Roshi is capable of providing traditional training.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
It's like they don't want the main story to proceed, the last chapter wasn't bad, but it ended in like 3 pages with no real content, a couple of encounters and a fight which lasted for less than 5 panels.
But eh, Bojack. Once again, someone please ping me when they'll be back to something ...

Tenshinhan was established as a true martial arts genius, someone far more knowledgeable than even Goku when it came to techniques. He was able to copy the Kamehameha just by seeing it once, which really sold how skilled and perceptive he was. While I don't disagree with you about Tenshinhan's ...

FYI, the results are also available in a much more convenient textual format on the original website, in case people don't feel like watching a 16+ minutes video in Japanese.
What a surprise, Goku ended up first and Vegeta ended up second, I'm sure nobody saw that coming.

Re: How many more years the original VAs of Goku and Vegeta around the world will be playing their roles well enough?
Sadly, the best Italian Goku (Paolo Torrisi) already died in 2005. His replacement (Claudio Moneta) will turn 59 this year, so he'll be probably fine for a while.
Gianluca Iacono (the Italian Vegeta since day one) will turn 56, so that's even better.
Ironically, the older of the bunch is Patrizia ...

Finally, someone who agrees with me that Beerus destroying a small piece of rock was the best version of that scene, everyone else seem to think that Beerus pretending to fall asleep is funnier, but I don't like it at all.

3) Kuririn would have lost against Bacterian.
6) Nail had ample chances to get his power unlocked, in fact I think he was chosen to be Saichourou's bodyguard because he got the unlock. Piccolo didn't, of course. I actually can't answer your question.

I've been voting for the dolphin since the nameless cute girl was eliminated, but it looks like the dolphin is going to have a similar fate.

I apologise if I somehow missed this, but I don't think it's been mentioned: what is the schedule for DBD December this year? I guess it's Sunday 7th / 14th / 21st / 28th, but the fact that today is both Monday and the first day of the month made me dubious.

Re: Will they label the brand-new projects as one of Toriyama's last works for commercial reasons even if that's not tru
Just like only two 007 movies have been released before Ian Fleming's death, I'm sure they're going to find an appropriate wording such as "based on characters originally created by Akira Toriyama", or something to that extent, according to his actual involvement (if any at all). The Japanese ...
