Sorry if this has been asked already... But is the re-dubbed/revised english dialogue used for all of the sound options? Or is it only present with the Japanese music?.. That would suck, as I'm a Bruce Faulconer fan so I'm looking forward to hearing his stuff.. But at the same time, I really want to ...

Okay, thanks... And the opening intro theme?

I have a couple questions... Firstly, can you confirm that Faulconer's music is in fact the score used for the "US Broadcast" version?
And secondly, a follow-up question to that.. Does the US Broadcast opener still feature Menza's intro music, or have they switched to Faulconer's intro theme to ...

I'm surprised they would go to the trouble of re-dubbing their voices.. I can certainly notice a difference between the earlier episodes and the later ones, but not necessarily to the extent of feeling that they HAVE to be re-dubbed. That's not to say I don't appreciate the effort - I think it's ...

So the voice actors' voices have changed/evolved that much between 1999 and now?

So wait a sec... They have re-recorded some dialogue in these sets that appeared in the original dub? That doesn't make any sense to me.. Why would there be any need to re-record the exact same lines? It would make sense for dialogue that they have revised/improved, obviously that would need to be ...

I'm curious... One of the major selling points for these sets is the "revised dialogue", which I must say I have enjoyed immensely in scenes such as Vegeta screaming "See you in Hell, Recoome!!"...

So I was wondering, did Funimation re-write the scripts for only season one and two, or did they go ...

Hmmm... That's a little disappointing I must say.. I was under the impression that the US track was going to be remixed in 5.1... Not sure where I read that. But, in any case, beggers can't be choosers I suppose. I'm just glad to have Faulconer's music retained for these season sets, even if it's ...

What the eff??? Didn't they have a 5.1 mix for the old single disc releases? Why wouldn't that trend continue for the new releases?

Or have they never mixed the US audio in 5.1???

Just picked up my first season set - pretty pumped about it. One thing I'm unsure of though.. In the setup menu, it says that the Japanese audio is in 5.1 surround... But it doesn't say anything about the US audio being 5.1 surround. It just says "US Broadcast". So does anyone know if the US audio ...

My understanding was that Faulconer didn't come aboard until somewhere in the Frieza saga? I could be mistaken..

In any case, I'm so tempted to run out to wal-mart right now and buy season one. But if the guy that re-scored season one and season two was hired to re-score the entire series, that's ...

Will the FUNi season sets have Faulconer's music?

I know the FUNi season sets aren't exactly the most popular thing around these parts, but I'm a huge fan of Faulconer's music... And that's really the issue that will decide for me whether or not I buy these season sets. If they opted to replace his music with someone new, I won't be touching these ...

Hm, per FUNi's new FAQ (not the DVD FAQ that we've been told is coming), the reaction to the widescreen announcement has been "anything but positive."

Will the set get pushed back again? We'll see...

Will we see a GT Remastered release?

As everyone knows we are about to have a DBZ Remastered release courtesy of Funimation, which I'm sure will take a very long time for each saga to hit the store shelves... But once that process is finally completed, do you guys think we'll see the same thing done for GT?

I'd love to have it happen ...

I'm just surprised at the people going, "Oh, it doesn't make that big a difference! It's just widescreen!" I'd like to pay to have them all take a film class, or perhaps even see the stages of production when it comes to animation. Maybe then they'd get the point.
