As I recall, I was 6 years old when I started watching DBZ when it was being aired in syndication on Toonami back in 1998, and I've been a fan of the Dragon Ball series ever since.

I got the game today. I started enjoying it at first, but the further I played it, the more I became disappointed. Quick question. Am I the only one here who is annoyed by the fact that there is a time limit?

I know I'm getting Battle of Z (PS3) since I pre-ordered it at my local GameStop, and I am planning on getting the Full Color Comics since I don't own any of the manga.

I highly doubt it. I don't think that FUNimation has the rights to that portion of the dub. Only the first 53-edited episodes of the both the Saiyan and Namek sagas.

Finally picked up my set, and I watched the first episode. There were a LOT of references to "death" and "killing" in those first few episodes. In an ironic way, this edited set contains the most uncut version of the Ocean dub ever released on DVD (outside of the three movies).

Cool. Well, at least I still own the uncut versions on DVD from Pioneer.

Even though I probably won't buy the DBZ Blu-ray sets, since I already own the Dragon Boxes, but I filled it out and voted for the 4:3 original broadcasted version to be released on the Blu-rays.

Now that I see it. It could possibly be Sailor Moon, Dr. Slump, or another famous anime. If they're really into setting a goal like that, it has to be something pretty big!

But, if it is Sailor Moon or Dr. Slump, I will be happy to add it to my anime collection!

It could be something Dragon Ball related, like more Dragon Boxes/Buu Kai saga/Battle of Gods, but if it's over licensing a show for getting that many likes, I probably suspect them getting the rights for Sailor Moon (which they've been trying to get for years now) or some other popular anime that ...

Didn't VegettoEX already verify we would be getting all 3 edited for TV versions of the 3 movies a few hours ago when he posted the info on the main site?

But there aren't really edited versions of the first two films with the Ocean cast, aside from the TV airing that had minor edits for content ...

Well, the dubs for Death Note and Black Lagoon, two of the greatest anime English dubs of all time, is what.

The only Funimation dub that measures up to those two is Baccano!. Maybe Summer Wars.

I just want the film to be released here already. I'm fine with seeing the movie with the FUNimation in-house cast, but I just hope the film gets a general theatrical release here in the States if FOX does plan on putting it on the big screen. The film was financially successful in the Japanese box ...

I'm thrilled now for this release! I actually hope that FUNimation includes both the uncut and the televised versions of the movies in this release! The trailer just got me so excited!

Looking at the details for the 48-paged booklet, I wonder how they're going to cover much of the history and tropes. Hopefully, if they do a timeline like they did with the DBZ Season One Orange Brick, they can present it with accurate information.

I'm actually glad that FUNimation is doing this release. I just hope that they release the first two episodes with the original broadcast audio before they re-dubbed it to take out the mentions of death before Pioneer released the episodes on the home video market back in the 90s.
